Hey everyone,

I received the AOS Bill by email today, however when I attempt to log into the system it still tells me my case is in the process of being terminated. Should I give it a day or give them a call? Thanks!

hey Everyone! I'm curious what you guys have done to translate your civil documents. I ran a Google search and it looks like there are a couple of translation services online, but I'm not sure if they are reliable. I'm from Romania and I don't really know a Romanian translator. also, are we supposed to notarize the translations, as well?

I don't think it needs to be 'notorized', just 'certified'.

Gentlemen I have an update, got transferred to NVC today , before shipping TSC did punish us by unnecessarily holding for another 30 days.

3 Feb : NOA2 ( 296 days)

4 March: Shipped to NVC

11 March : Received at NVC

11 April: Case # assigned

18 April: paid both fees

9May: mailed AOS & IV packages

8May: DS260 completed

16May: packets scanned in NVC system

13 June: check list : missing page 7 of i864.

25 June : scan date AOS checklist

7 Aug: Case Complete...... BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT

14 Aug: interview date assigned

16 Aug: Email interview appointment received

18 Aug: Medical completed

23 Aug: biometric done,DS260 stamped, fingerprints taken.

10 Sep: interview day; interview took 511 days from I-130 NOA1

Hi All

Please let me know if I am missing anything on my IV package:

A) Bar coded cover sheet

B) Cover letter of all the documents being sent

C) 2 photograph with case number and date of birth on the back side

D) original birth certificate and a copy. Also the document is translated in English

E) First and last 2 pages of passport

D) Original PCC and copy

F) copy of summons for my divorce as I do not have a final divorce decree as I left US before it was finalized.

For my AOS package:

A) handwritten I 864 W.

Please let me know if I have everything or I am missing anything?

My visa category is IB 1. VAWA.

Just Checking in. Although NVC got my case files from USICS on Feb 7 but still no case numbers have been assigned. I am hoping soon I should be able to get those numbers.

Hi All,

Our I-130 approval was Jan 27, 2013 (NSC).

Our petition is still not at the NVC. I've looked at many timelines and it seems that 15 -30 days is typical.

It's been 34 days for us to date. I spoke with a guy at NVC today and he said it's possible that when they do enter our petition into the data base, that they will also have our case #'s ready too. This is the first I've heard of that.

It seems that first your petition gets entered and then after about 3 weeks you have your #'s.

Has anyone received notice of their case being and entered AND the #'s all at once?

Hi everyone..

I've a few questions. Hope someone would help:

1-Can we give our email addresses over phone or we have to sent email to NVC?

2-To complete DS-261 one should have beneficiary ID. For that do we have to wait for NVC's email instructing to fill DS-261 or that # can be acquired along with case # & IIN?

3-We have a co-sponsor (that is not a household member). I understand petitioner & co-sponsor would both be filling I864 but if co-sponsor (joint sponsor) is filing his tax return as Jointly Married would his wife be required to fill I864A or not?
