I sent in my AOS documents as soon as the bill showed as paid and had no problems. Paid AOS 2/14 and sent docs 2/19 then confirmation email was 2/28 for enrolling and AOS confirmation was 3/8.

So yes, you can send in the documents before you get the enroll confirmation.

Thanks. All my stuffs been ready for weeks, just hate waiting. If we had to wait for ENROLL confirmation, it would be quicker to mail the AOS in as it takes them about two weeks just to reply to the ENROLL email.

When you sent your ENROLL email did you receive an automated response from NVC right away? Because I didn't and I've noticed that some people did.

Did you receive anything from NVC after you filled out the DS-261 to say they received it?

Just wondering so I can plan things out. To getter a better guess on timeframe and what not. I have a complicated situation and lots to do before I move.

Just looked at the case completes for 2014 so far. Excluding those with expedites, EP, and checklists, the average time at NVC is ~50 days, but the median and mode is 42 days. I'm currently at 29 days... and possibly being a little bit crazy :whistle:

Is this working days? also is this from getting case # or from NOA2?

That's calendar days from when the case number is assigned.

Yes, I did get an auto reply after I send in the ENROLL.

After I sent in the DS-261 I got an email 4 days later with this title "U.S. DoS - CEAC Confirmation (Case Number)". It had a PDF document attached with the information I had provided on the DS-261. On the PDF is said after 3-5 business days the fees would become available.

30 May 2014: Called NVC spoke with supervisor. The supervisor could not open the 2013 Transcripts we've sent in our AOS package on April21, because it was downloaded from IRS site. He said it was password protected.

We scanned the transcript and sent it to the supervisor at nvcinquiry@state.gov.

The supervisor was kind enough to wait on the phone and confirm that he has received our email with scanned transcripts attachments.

Supervisor asked another 3 weeks to review our cases.

01 Jun 2014: We sent 2 separate emails (one case # for each parent ) "Response to Checklist" to nvcelectronic@state.gov complete with all the attachments scanned into pdf.

04 Jun 2014 : Case Complete for both parents! ?

25 Jun 2014 : Medical done

22 Jul 2014 : Montreal interview. Approved! ?

09Sep2014 : Entry at Niagara-Buffalo Peace Bridge Officer also requested Green Card and SSN. We have received the Green Cards but we never received SIN. We requested the SIN cards again in November at Local Office and receiver the cards in one week.

Just paid IV fee! That was quick- yellow triangle this morning, email 30 minutes ago and IV fee paid minutes right after!

I am the petitioner (USC). My husband is Senegalese.

6/10/2013: NOA1

1/21/2014: NOA2 (TSC)

2/6/2014: Received at NVC

3/13/2014: Case Number, IIN, BIN received by phone. Emails handed over.

3/17/2014: Submitted DS-261

3/18/2014: Received emails- AOS invoice and Case Number, IIN, BIN

3/19/2014: AOS available and paid (IN PROCESS)

3/19/2014: My part of AOS sent to joint sponsor from Senegal, awaiting PAID confirmation before joint sponsor sends to NVC

3/21/2014: AOS payment REJECTED. Paid again, payment IN PROCESS. Joint sponsor received AOS package in US

3/24/2014: AOS Payment went through account. Still in process at NVC.

3/25/2014: AOS PAID. IV Yellow Triangle in the morning. IV email and payment invoiced in the afternoon. IV payment IN PROCESS.

3/26/2014: IV payment taken out of bank account, still in process at NVC. IV packet sent via DHL from Senegal.

3/27/2014: IV shows PAID. DS-260 Submitted. AOS sent to NVC from Oregon.

3/28/2014: AOS and IV delivered (both signed by G.Peters)

4/1/2014: Both packets in the system

4/14/2014: Fake checklist for AOS. IV assumed accepted (will call to verify)

4/15/2014: Case complete (by phone)

4/22/2014: Case complete email

5/1/2014: Interview scheduled (confirmed by phone)
