Question, my husband was registered in high school under a different last name due to a clerical error. Is it better on the DS-260 to put that he didn't attend high school?

Ah, the famous wait 30 business days line :-)

I think it should be really soon for the AOS review, saw someone with a date of submit close to yours that was accepted recently. They have been doing a pretty awesome job as of late, we have pretty conclusive evidence now that they are working OT and Saturdays. Saw someone with a case complete on Sat!

I haven't had a chance to call since I sent it in, plan to call later in the day when they free up a bit. I was hoping to hear that AOS review was done, but guess not.

according to posts from yesterday they are currently reviewing packages from the 7th of this month. which is quick

Saylin, I just remembered.. I was not able to photocopy the original documents that I sent to NVC. The documents i sent were:

-Document cover sheet

-Photocopy of passport bio page

-2 pcs photograph

-original birth certificate

-original marriage certificate

-original police clearance (NBI clearance)

Will there be problems when there are no photocopies included?

Called NVC and got my case number. They received my file February 19th

I got my case today too. but they didn't take e-mails today.

I didn't include photocopies and my case was completed. just be sure to bring all the original and photocopy to the interview.

guys (Philippine applicants) did you do his request from NSO about CDLI????

Applicants should request certificates that are issued with a "CDLI endorsement" (Court Documents and Legal Instruments). This endorsement shows any amendments to the original document from marriages, annulments, name changes etc. Unless a CDLI copy is requested, the requester will receive the unamended or original copy of the document.guys form the Philippines did you do this request for your birth and marriage certificate, etc.

Do we need to call them and make sure the files haves been uploaded , reviewed and approved? Coz the payment portal only shows if the payment is processed or pending.

You have to call. Unless their is an issue the next email you will get is case complete which arrives 7 days after your case complete (so call). Then there's the interview email that comes usually the day the schedule you.

They had my email and phone number already. They didn't have my wife's email though so I gave it to them

I looked at my call log - last Thursday I tried 21 times to get through (26 minute wait before I got through to a person) to NVC and Friday 25 times (38 minutes). Worth it though, found out my case is complete, so yay.

Although it was sarcastic, I guess I shouldn't complain. This is still way much better than USCIS stage.
