Thanks to you and everyone else :)

I'm going to be a "customs specialist" at a customs broker. Basically just filling out forms based on data provided, so freight can enter the US at customs with no issues :)

Hi,

I forgot but do we have to call NVC to get a complete for the AOS? Do they email or does it appear on the CEAC? Thanks in advance.

They don't email when a case is accepted. And nothing appears on either the online forms portal or the payment portal. You need to call to find out ;)

I have a regular update and an interesting one following the regular:

Regular: IV Bill showing paid and DS260 now available online for filling out!

Interesting: I just received an email from the NVC stating they put my AOS packet in their system. However the specific packet they are referring to is the one I sent on March 6th which was before I received confirmation I was enrolled in EP. So I guess you dont have to wait for the EP confirmation to send stuff it.....

Hmm. Are you sure they're referring to the original package and not any of the ones you re-sent?

I am 99% sure they are responding to the March 6th email because the March 6th email is attached in the correspondence. So if I scroll all the way down to the bottom of their email that says please give us 20 days I can see my email to them which is dated March 6th....

Weird huh? I am sure I will get a checklist though because the March 6th email had 3 JPEGS on it instead of all PDF's....drrrrr...oh and so did the second email. So only the 3rd and fourth are all PDF's. So I basically made a big mess of it all.haha.

March 6: AOS Packet sent EP (I did not know at the time but 3 attachments were JPEG's, only PDF's are accepted)

March 12: EP enrollment confirmation received

March 13: Resent AOS packet email as I am confused if they received original since EP enrollment confirmation was received by me after AOS was sent.

March 14: Resent AOS packet as I realized previous two packets had JPEG's in them. This is my first correct packet with all PDF's.

March 17: Resent AOS packet for the 4th time with all PDF's and finally got a confirmation of receipt. This one was the only one sent during "business hours"

March 20: IV Bill Invoiced & Paid

March 24: IV Bill Shows Paid and DS260 Available online

March 25: Supervisor states AOS packet approved

March 27: DS260 & Supporting Documents submitted

April 18: False checklist for IV Packet

May 4: Checklist requesting proof of eligibility (passport or BC). Wrote a nasty note back with a passport attached since they already had both as its part of the IV Packet duh

May 13: NVC Approval Email

May 16: Interview Scheduled June 25th

May 28: Medical Exam Completed

June 25: Interview Montreal
