i was about to msg you not to forget to use IE...guess im too late...

we'll a lot of us here used chrome and just a few had an error...including me. 1 out of 4 payment...

And it takes business days to go through, right? So I won't even know until mid next week. Ugh. I was so eager to get in the payment again I completely forgot that my first thought was "must use IE!"

I'm so f***ing stupid. I called my bank and was using the wrong account number (had to add like six 0s to the end). So I repaid with my correct account number, but FORGOT TO USE IE! Ugh. Hoping it won't get rejected again. Stupid me.crying.gif

Check the payment receipt and see if it has a transaction ID.

IF yes then your payment went through,

If not then will have to wait again.....

It has a tracking ID #, but I just checked and so did the first one I paid.

Oh well. I guess this just means I have another week to make sure all my AOS packet is in order!

They don't send you anything when the case is received. You need to call to find this out.

QUESTION

On the I-864 on the first page, questions 2-5, is that for the sponsor or beneficiary? I can't find it on the instructions and the example I864 is confusing. It gives a mailing address in the USA and then country of citizenship as Australia.

QUESTION

Questions 2-5 is the continuation of the first column, under part 2, so it's about the beneficiary. The mailing address shouldn't be a US one, it should be a foreign one.

Waiting to pay AOS fee! How long does this triangle of doom take to be available to pay the fee

For me it was within the same day. I'm waiting to be able to pay now, because I have my triangle of doom, but it won't allow me to do the transaction yet. I'm just checking every half our or so. (I'm waiting for the IV though.)

It has a tracking ID #, but I just checked and so did the first one I paid.

Oh well. I guess this just means I have another week to make sure all my AOS packet is in order!

I had the same problem- rejected payment (despite having a tracking #), but I repaid in IE and am hoping it was a technical thing on NVC's part and not an account number problem. I'd hate to have another setback if they don't accept the payment this time.

I am the petitioner (USC). My husband is Senegalese.

6/10/2013: NOA1

1/21/2014: NOA2 (TSC)

2/6/2014: Received at NVC

3/13/2014: Case Number, IIN, BIN received by phone. Emails handed over.

3/17/2014: Submitted DS-261

3/18/2014: Received emails- AOS invoice and Case Number, IIN, BIN

3/19/2014: AOS available and paid (IN PROCESS)

3/19/2014: My part of AOS sent to joint sponsor from Senegal, awaiting PAID confirmation before joint sponsor sends to NVC

3/21/2014: AOS payment REJECTED. Paid again, payment IN PROCESS. Joint sponsor received AOS package in US

3/24/2014: AOS Payment went through account. Still in process at NVC.
