Hah! My husband has a blue and gold Macaw Parrott he is bringing to the U.S. with him when he comes. We applied for the birds "Visa" last month to import him and he has his visa already. I hope it doesn't expire before my husband gets his:(

Awwwwww! How cute! Maybe the bird will arrive first! Lol! :) how long is the birds visa good for?

Collie, did your parents need to get "kitty visas" for their cats?

I think it's awesome that people don't have to leave their pets behind. I'd be devastated to leave my kitty!

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anybody encountered the same case here. I filed my tax return last month via paper MFS and put NRA on the spouse ssn section. Anyway today I got a copy of my transcript and it shows I filed single which is weird because I have my own copy here and It says MFS. Any thoughts?

I'm a little confused. Your timeline states your NOA2 is March 5th, yet you say above your case was sent to NVC on March 3rd. Cases aren't sent to NVC until AFTER the approval. Is there a typo somewhere?

Hi Saylin,

Is your recommended approach throughout form I-864 to avoid checklist to use " N/A " and " none " or leave blank ?

Reason I am asking is my wife has no middle name. Leave blank ? None? N/A?

Thanks smile.png

That's what I said to my husband too when the supervisor told him March 3rd.

The NOA2 says the notice date is March 5th so maybe it was actually approved on the 3rd? Not sure.

I will call the NVC tomorrow to confirm they have our file and update here.
