Yes exactly, from case complete to interview.

UK usually 1 to 2 month. It's all about when you get case complete and if they are complete with scheduling.

Like say you got case complete 1st week in April. Well the May scheduling is about to start next week (probably the 28th). So you having such a late case complete may put you in the queue for the June slots which means you would have to wait until end of April.

But at least your embassy isn't like Egypt or Yemen or Vietnam or Tunisia where its 4 to 8 month wait after case complete.

I'm in the same boat as you...checked out DHL and found out that it'd be over $60 for each shipment. So I just accepted the fact that I will have to pay that twice- once for AOS and once for IV. I would rather not take the risk of waiting 2 more weeks for the IV to get invoiced to send the AOS and then getting a checklist for AOS that sets me back even more. For me, going back to the US with my husband is worth an extra $60 :)

On a sidenote- if I remember correctly, you have a joint sponsor. Out of curiosity, what are you planning on doing to get your sponsor's documents? I originally planned on the sponsor sending me the docs via DHL and then me sending them back out through DHL to the NVC...then I realized this is a crazy amount of money and I lose about 4 days with international shipping...plus I live in the middle of nowhere where there are no street addresses so I'm not too confident in DHL finding me. So today my husband (the beneficiary) and I were suddenly inspired to change our plans and we ended up sending the whole packet to the joint sponsor via DHL (that's $60). The joint sponsor will add his docs, call me on Skype to verify everything, and then send it all in USPS next-day or 2-day Express (which is sooo much cheaper, I think around $20). I honestly feel so much more comfortable with US mail options and if all goes well, the AOS payment will be PAID on Friday and the NVC will receive the docs on Monday. If we waited for DHL, it would arrive Wednesday. So, if you trust your joint sponsor enough, there's a solution to save money, time, and stress!

Alright we'll send it ASAP! Money isn't a huge issue and if it could even slightly affect the speed of being approved I'll send it off. I just want my husband to get that freaking visa! It's been too long smile.png

Pls dwheels help,I tried to login to fee payment after I got an e-mail from nvc to pay AOS fee.i'm getting an error message saying my case is in the process of termination,what does that mean?i'm worried,it's been that way since yesterday.

In the voice of our lovely Saylin and NLR "someone didn't read the NVC process Wiki". This is covered. Its good news though. You are just moving faster than NVC. Even though they sent you the email its not ready yet but keep checking.

Now go read the Wiki so you don't miss anything else.

My AOS bill showed up paid this morning, I have not send my AOS package L I am waiting for my co sponsor’s info, I have all my taxes ready but I don’t know if that’s Ok to send it without the co sponsor, my actual income is above the poverty line as of today. Then why not send it in. You could very well get through NVC with just your information. And just hold on to the co-sponsor documents for interview in case they request. Because final decision is the CO at embassy. All NVC does is accept your documents not approve them. It's your call.

It's a good thing

They are invoicing your IV fee right now. Very soon you or your agent select will get an email with the invoice details. Soon after that, you'll be able to pay your IV fee.

The yellow triangle showed up for me yesterday morning and this afternoon I got the agent+invoice email. Now just waiting for the invoice to be available via CEAC so I can pay the thing.

I saw this yellow triangle with the exclamation mark yesterday morning, I still have not gotten the invoice... UGH!! But congrats to you! :)

I just went to the CEAC website and there's a yellow triangle under the DS260 for my Mum, but I still cannot pay when I click on it. Nothing shows for my Dad yet. I think I may call today and see if they have reviewed the AOS yet. I got a letter yesterday in the mail from the NVC and my first thought was oh sheep, here we go with the checklist. It was actually just a confirmation of change of embassy tongue.png

July 1, 2014 Pay fees for the Green Card

August 10, 2014 Green card arriver on August 10th
