Whew! That was intense...totally 21 files attached, together under 10MB. Had to check and recheck then checked again...such a war...so afraid I missed anything or put a stupid typo somewhere...

Praying HARD for no checklist now!

For some reason I have not received any emails from NVC. Should I worry about that? Although I am able to log into the NVC site and see the status of my AOS feed payment - In Process.

Did you give over both email addresses to an operator when the case number was assigned?

I guess I might check in too.

I130 approved on March 5th. waiting for NVC case number. I randomly spot checked a few and it looks like it's it's taking a full 2 months to get the claim number. Is every one seeing that too?

Also, my co sponsors already submitted me their AOS paperwork to include 2012 2011 and 2010 tax transcripts. But if I end up submitting after the tax deadline, can I just include the 2013 tax transcript, or do I need to have them redo the form?

Since you probably won't be able to send the AOS package until AFTER April 14 (tax deadline), 2013 tax information will be required. This doesn't only mean tax transcripts, but also on the form asking about previous years' income. So, yes, an updated form will be required.

Today is the 7th business day since NVC scanned my AOS and IV packet for review. Should I call them to check if any update or is it too early?

It's never too early to call them

Is the AOS fee normally available before IV fee? And would it be slower to wait to be able to pay both at the same time and then send the packages together? Or is it about the same time?

It costs $80 to DHL a package to the USA and it'd be nice to just have to pay that one time!

Unless you have a lawyer (in which the two fees are invoiced at the same time), the AOS will always be invoiced first since the IV fee is dependent on the DS-261 being accepted and added to the case file.

You can certainly send the packages together. But, there's no need to wait on paying bills. Pay them as soon as possible, in case there's a delay with one.

Hey, saylin.. need help..

I have two police certificates. The latest one has my husband's Pakistan's address on it but now I am not living there anymore. I can't live alone in the house as my in laws are in the US.

DS-260 has this present address section, if I write my parent's address would that be ok ? However, I have another police certificate stating my previous address (which where I am living now, my parent's house).

Is this gonna complicate it ?

For the DS-260, yes, if you're living at your parent's now, then that's the current address you need to use. Then the address after that will be where you lived previously.

I'm not sure on this, but NVC may need an updated PCC with the current address. Not entirely sure how that works there.

So I paid the AOS fee on Thursday 3/13. As of Friday 3/14 the payment cleared from my bank account. But it's now Wednesday 3/19 and it still says in process on CEAC. Should I call? It's past the three business days. Has it normally been taking awhile longer?

Seems like a few people have posted recently about longer than usual PAID statuses. I believe someone mentioned that they're having some issues with their systems.

Actually, the NVC person read out my email ID to me. I only had to give her my wife's email ID. But maybe I should call and find out if they have my email ID correctly or not.

Alright, just wanted to make sure. Anyways, the emails can be severely delayed at times. And I'm thinking with all this backlog recently, that may be the cause of it. But, as you've obviously noticed, you don't need emails to proceed

Matt: I also paid AOS fee on Thursday 3/13. The money was drawn on 3/14. But only this morning it shows up as PAID. So I am guessing they had some issues. I am sure your status will change to PAID today.
