Its not a weird question. Some people in the process become eligible for adjustment of status and no longer need an IV from the foreign consulate. All questions in the application have a point.

To have that option on this form to "end it all" by selecting "Yes" still seems weird to me mellow.png

Hmm, maybe they changed the system since then. Can anyone else confirm you just press 1 to speak with an operator at NVC?

Yes. You just pres 1 if you speak English. Then it goes into " all operators are busy assisting other callers blah blah blah......."

i actually have no idea... ive been busy with the other requirements for almost a month and then when i called the NVC, we have case# and IIN that was last wwek, march 12, 2014. I called last night (march 17, 2014) and i gave them our email address. that time, our invoice said something like "termination". and when i checked again this morning, it is now ready and we can pay now. do we have to wait for their email to send the packet after paying the AOS?

Well, I'll have to leave the box grayed out then...

How much are the two bills? And how do I pay them? From (FAQ)

The AOS costs $88 (per case) and the IV is $230 (per person). They have to be paid with a US banking account on the payment portal (site linked in first post). Question: 1. As i know only petitioner or Agent (appointed with DS-261) can pay AOS and IV bills right ? Is anybody who can pay more ?

2. Here is said bill must be paid with a US banking account, so it means petitioner must have US located bank's account (debit/credit card )? If it is such and petitioner doesn't have USA located Bank account what can we do ?

As other members stated, anyone with a US bank account can pay the fees. It doesn't have to be either the petitioner or beneficiary.

And yes, a US bank account is needed, so if the petitioner doesn't have one, find someone who does (family member of petitioner is usual in those cases).

Can a case be expedited based on security reasons.

Do you mean like the safety of the beneficiary? If so, yes (although no guarantee it'll be accepted).

My lawyer sent an email to ask about EP enrolment, however i thought this was only for certain countries? (The UK not being one of them), am I wrong (i have read the NVC fact sheet from Saylin) or is my Lawyer just trying to chance it that they will accept. She says the NVC are trying to migrate to EP to reduce paperwork and processing times.

Yeah, the UK isn't eligible for EP. I'd be wary of your lawyer...
