Do you think it's possible to get NVC case approved and an interview date before April 15, 2014?

NOA2 on March 12, 2014

Didn't get a case number yet.

During Feb and March, From "case # assigned" to "case complete"

the fastest two were completed in 36 days - non expedited.

Alright folks, so, after some discussion in this thread (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/486030-can-someone-help-me-update-the-nvc-flowchart-on-vj/), I wrote an updated wiki about the NVC process, incorporating the links and FAQ from the old posts 1 and 2. Saylin, I noticed that it says in the article that you posted that when you called the NVC, you should press 1 and then 5. I've never had to press anything after pressing 1. What does pressing 5 do?

Other than that, it looks awesome!

Hmm, maybe they changed the system since then. Can anyone else confirm you just press 1 to speak with an operator at NVC?

Hi Saylin,

Could you please update my entry with case number assigned on 03/17/14. Kaylara is correct, now the phone only allows you to press 1 then it sends you to the queue, just an FYI, if the number sounds busy dial again, it normally takes me three times to get the NVC prompt. Your guide is awesome!!!!!!

Hi guys,

Datapoint update.

USCIS PD: April 15, 2013

NOA2: Jan 28, 2014

NOA2 Shipment: Jan 29, 2014

Arrived at NVC: Feb 10, 2014

Case number assigned: March 17, 2014

Please note that I was told my email address had already been assigned from the USCIS case file, so I did not have to give them my email address. I was told that the choice of agent instructions will arrive at that email address within 10-20 business days.

Also, I was given a case number, but the operator didn't mention an IIN. Is everyone receiving those together these days? Should I have pushed for whether an IIN was assigned?

Showing now. Although the consulate is showing as Armenia, so please update.

Added to the spreadsheet. When did NVC receive your case?

i actually have no idea... ive been busy with the other requirements for almost a month and then when i called the NVC, we have case# and IIN that was last wwek, march 12, 2014. I called last night (march 17, 2014) and i gave them our email address. that time, our invoice said something like "termination". and when i checked again this morning, it is now ready and we can pay now. do we have to wait for their email to send the packet after paying the AOS?
