The 3 digits after the 2014, in your case 571, signifies the day the case was assigned. One of the wiki's from VJ provided the info

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This marries the USCIS receipt number to your newly generated NVC number which is based on

EEEYYYYOOOSSS

  • E = 3 digit embassy code (example TKY for Tokyo)
  • Y = 4 digit code for year (example 2008)
  • O= 3 digit code for Ordinal date plus 500
  • Example I. Aug 28 = 241st ordinal day ADD 500 = 741
  • Example II. 741 SUBTRACT 500 = 241st ordinal day (Aug. 28)
  • S = Sequence number of the day (if you were the second approval scanned, your code would be 002)

Full Example of NVC case number = TKY2008741002

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

You can get the ordinal day at: http://www.atmos.anl.gov/ANLMET/OrdinalDay.txt

Day 71 in your case.. so your case was created on Mar 11th.

Yes.. i dont have any idea when was the case created.. my husband just told me.. saylin, i want to be added on your spreadsheet to keep in track.. can you also give me the link to the spreadsheet?

NOA2: January 25, 2014 from MSC

NVC AND IIN Created: MARCH 11,2014

(Took so long,right)

Hey guys, I got both of my bills invoiced but when I try to login into the Fee payment part it says "Database Error" on Google Chrome and "Session Timed Out" on internet explorer. It's been a while since I filled out the ds-261 (Feb. 28th). I just thought this error would go away after a few days but it doesn't look like it. btw it's not the "Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."), error. What do I do???

P.S. Always stick with IE for government websites.

Thank you!!!!

NVC focuses on current and the most recent year income. My husband was below the 2nd and 3rd years as well and we had no issues.

Now, the consulate/embassy have their own guidelines, so at the time of the interview, a joint sponsor may be requested, but you never know.

Did i just get a fake checklist? Its asking me to submit the civil documents as part of DS-260 processing. I have already submitted them on behalf of the applicant. Should i just ignore this ?

1st page is standard template for checklist. second page is actual bar code cover sheet. Then on the 3rd page it says

INSTRUCTIONS FOR: XXXXX, XXXXXXX

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

______CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

address provided.

______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

The National Visa Center received your DS-260 form. We are waiting for the traveling applicant’s

supporting civil documents to be submitted to the NVC. Your online Immigrant Visa Application will be

reviewed upon receipt of your supporting documentation.

To view which documents the applicant must submit to the NVC, please go to our website

immigrantvisas.state.gov.

yes, is false checklist. but better call to confirm.
