I have a question. So I paid my AOS fee and also send my AOS too. Should I also send the IV package along with my AOS? I never got the invoiced to pay for the IV, so I didn't know

You may send your IV package later once you already paid the bill. You need the bar coded cover sheet. It's very important.

Pls one more question,in part 6 of the I-864 form,if I'm not using income from a member of my household size ,do I leave number 6-9 blank?

Question - do you qualify for the I-864EZ?

If not - then no, put n/a or none. Do not leave anything blank.

I called NVC several times a week after NOA2 to find out if and when they received our case file. For me calling in the evenings (around 7 pm California) worked best. I suggest you call NVC on Monday to find out the date they received your case. Then count at least 20 working days to figure out about when you will receive the Case #. Again start calling NVC towards the end of that time period.

Thanks for the reply... could you please suggest what all information do these NVC guys ask from me while enquiring about the receipt of the case file.

hey Saylin,

u think the CO at the interview (april 8) will ask for 2013 tax? if so, will i need a new i864 filled out?

The CO can ask whatever he wishes. If you have the 2013 taxes filed already, then yes, bring a new I-864 filled out with the 2013 tax information.

All -

Sorry if this has been answered already.

I call NVC to inquire whether they have received my case. The representative mentioned that it may take 8 weeks to send the letter regarding receipt of my case at NVC. This seems excessive!

I can keep calling NVC every week to inquire whether they have received the letter. If I call them excessively, would it backfire against me. What if they find my calling a nuisance and retaliate by deliberately delaying the case? Is this a potential?

Thanks.

As long as you're not calling every hour and/or being rude to them, there's no "backfiring". Once a week or once a day is not a problem at all. Most VJ members here call daily. Just be polite ;)

Hi saylin and everyone i have a question again, my husband sent the aos package together with i130 (hoping it would take faster processing) so far we have paid the aos bill and it shows paid already in the system. Questions:

1. Will you receive an email for what to send in the aos package? Coz we did not receive anything i was wondering if they dont need it anymore and when i called in the rude lady told me to resend because cis and nvc are different agencies. She said i wont get any email about that coz its in the website and should just refer there, but then my cousin received an email for instructions how come i didnt? But yeah will you receive any instructructions what to send in the package?

2. We received an email to pay the IV BILL. shall we just go ahead and pay even if we are not settled with the aos package thing?

Really confused now. pls help Thanks!

First off, you should have read the I-130 instructions. No where does it state to send the AOS package. You'll have to re-send the AOS package again at NVC.

1. They'll send you an email directing you to their website. Instead of waiting for an email, just do this yourself now. Or, read posts 1 and 2, as you should have already before posting in this thread...

2. AOS and IV are two independent tracks that have absolutely nothing to do with one another. Please click on the flowchart linked both in my signature and post 1 for a visual of this.

I have a question. So I paid my AOS fee and also send my AOS too. Should I also send the IV package along with my AOS? I never got the invoiced to pay for the IV, so I didn't know

No. The IV isn't part of the AOS track. If you haven't paid the IV bill yet, then you can't send the IV package (without causing delays). Please read posts 1 and 2. The IV bill is only invoiced after the DS-261 has been accepted and added it to the case file.

Btw, up to now, the IV fee is not invoiced yet. No acceptance response too for our EP. When my husband called them, he was instructed not to send documents (AOS package) yet by email.

Anyway, I got clarification Saylin regarding scanning of multiple pages of Tax transcripts and of course the I-864 forms, these are 4 pages of tax transcripts each year and 2 forms of i-864,

my question here, i am not sure if my husband did the right thing..

He combined all pages of tax transcripts of all years? tax transcripts 2013, TT2012, TT2011 all in one file name?

MTLXXXXXXXX_First name_Lastname_Tax_transcripts (this means that all transcripts can be found here)

or we should create separate file name of each year?

Your response is highly appreciated.

I am not in a rush take your time.

And I am open too for any comments from others who had gone through this.

I'm sure it's fine either way, either combining all tax transcripts or separating them by year.

When should I get Police Clearance Certificate? I called the Police office they said I should have a request letter from the embassy regarding my case. Where can I get a prove that my visa is on process and should I wait till they send me a letter of request for my PCC? Your immediate reply would greatly appreciated. Thanks. Rose
