March 6: AOS Bill showing paid

March 6: AOS Packet sent EP (I did not know at the time but 3 attachments were JPEG's, only PDF's are accepted)

March 12: EP enrollment confirmation received

March 13: Resent AOS packet email as I am confused if they received original since EP enrollment confirmation was received by me after AOS was sent.

March 14: Resent AOS packet as I realized previous two packets had JPEG's in them. This is my first correct packet with all PDF's.

March 17: Resent AOS packet for the 4th time with all PDF's and finally got a confirmation of receipt. This one was the only one sent during "business hours"

March 20: IV Bill Invoiced & Paid

March 24: IV Bill Shows Paid and DS260 Available online

March 25: Supervisor states AOS packet approved

March 27: DS260 & Supporting Documents submitted

April 18: False checklist for IV Packet

May 4: Checklist requesting proof of eligibility (passport or BC). Wrote a nasty note back with a passport attached since they already had both as its part of the IV Packet duh

May 13: NVC Approval Email

Whoa, now I am a bit confused, I just got off the phone with NVC. I asked if they received my AOS packet that I electronically submitted on the 6th. She then asked if I had received a auto confirmation from them by email for the AOS. I said no, the only auto confirmation I received was for enrolling in the electronic processing. So she told me to resend my AOS packet, but I think she thought that I sent my AOS packet attached to my electronic processing ENROLL email.....

Would sending the packet for a second time screw things up on their end??

They are working over time and on Saturday to clear the backlog so just try to think positive.It took us 20 business days to be exact to have a case # but since their working overtime now maybe it will be faster for you to get a case number ;)

How did you know they are working on saturdy?

UPDATE: I have good news. My DS 260 has been approved, just waiting I-864 to be approved.

I had the same news from NVC today. It seems we have similar timelines. Hope will get approve soon & on same day. rolleyes.gif

Just called and talked to Gus, who I am convinced is the best NVC employee ever...and we got our case number, IIN, BIN, gave over emails, and everything today!!

Heads up all other Feb 6, folks!! That just made my day biggrin.png

Thank you 1000000000 times segal0123 for telling me to calldancin5hr.gif ....I was going to wait until tomorrow to check....just got my case # !!!!dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif

They said it just arrived today....I gave them both emails and got my IIN # also......

Congrats to you for getting your #.....thanks again for taking time to post.....I pray we are with our family's soon.

When you send something you should receive: Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for your recent inquiry to the National Visa Center (NVC). This e-mail is an auto response. Please do not respond.

We review and reply to e-mails in the order they are received.

within 5 mins of sending it. Then they send you an e-mail once they've officially logged it.

1/15/2013 - Married

Well thats scary because I never received this response after I sent my package on the 6th via email nor did I receive it this evening after I re-sent the package via email. Its under 10MG for sure and the email address is correct so I have no idea what is going on here.

Question-if u have W2 and 1099 my W2 shows earned income of 62 thousand and the 1099 only let's say reads 100 bucks I can't use the I864ez anymore? Because I have a 1099? Or is it only if I was basing it solely on the 1099?

All the income needs to show on one or more W2 according to the form. You could call NVC and inquire if you choose and report back?

Is the joint sponsor providing an I-864 ot I-864a. If they are combining income with the petitioner using an I-864a (not recommended) you must use some method to show they are in the same house and they are related.

If the joint sponsor is providing an I-864 then you do not need to do this as a joint sponsor does not need to be a family member.
