Separate PDFs. Then attach all the separate PDFs into one email. I suggest you read my wiki I wrote (linked in both the first post as well as my signature). Besides reading the entire thing, pay close attention to the 'Scanning' section I put together.

When naming pdf's for the AOS Section i.e. tax transcripts, pay stubs, after the case number in the file name do we put the sponsors name or the beneficiary's name. So if Jane Doe is the immigrant and John doe is sponsoring her do we put case#_John_Doe_Tax_Transcripts or is it case#_Jane_Doe_Tax_Transcripts

Question on AOS

My i130 for my wife has been approved and I'm beginning to learn more and more about the NVC process.

Can someone answer this question-

I am a student and have no income. My dad is going to be signing off the affidavit of support. Does that mean he has to select 1d- I am the only joint sponsor.

Can someone please correct me if I am wrong.

So I just got off the phone with the NVC after waiting a week since my NOA2 date to call and see if they have my case. They said they don't have it and that it takes 8 weeks to receive it. . Has anyone else seen this to be the case and had to wait 8 weeks? What has the average time been lately until NVC receives the case? I'm flabbergasted and thought it would only take a week or two, at the most.

I-864 is for the sponsor to fill out. So it would be case#_sponsors name_Transcripts.

If your father is in fact the only joint sponsor then yes box 1d. If there is more than one sponsor then box 1e is appropriate.

Yep I just off the phone with a very nice lady also, and she told me that its taking 6-8 weeks. Course its only been a week for us.....

You didn't have to wait for this email before you sent AOS, to make sure they received your enroll first and able to send forms and stuff through email? I thought you did?

Called NVC yesterday and found out our case has been complete since march 6th!!

Checked email today and got the interview appointment letter- April 28!!!

I am overwhelmed- now onto interview preparation. Thank you all so much for answering questions and staying positive! :)
