im an april 2013 filer,

so my wife just called the supervisor of the uscis rite now, she told her that our case was approved on August 2013

but when im checking my case it says the same from January .23.2104, that our case was transferred to the uscis local field office,

omg im so confused, and i so cant sleep tonight

please tell me what should i do ???,

Hi guys, I just have a question. If your joiny sponsor os you step father I understand I need to submit their marriage certificate and divorce decree as evidence of relationship but does it have to be original or photocopy is okay?

i have aquestion for the aos wen i send in the taxes does it has to be tax transcript or the actual tax return form

According to the instructions here tax transcripts are preferred by nvc but u can send tax return with w2's as well

question, my join sponsor does not have the taxes for 2013, should I wait for it? or should I send the AOS package before. Please help me.

2013 tax return/transcripts are not required until april when taxes are due so u can send the aos now but make sure u get it because they most likely will ask for it on the interview

Hello, I am preparing the AOS form. I need a joint sponsor, so I am having my Dad also fill an I-864 since we do not share the residence. Now he has filed MFJ 1040 tax form. that form does not say his income alone....its a sum total of my parents. What do I do in this case? Also, in 2013 we shared the residence so he has claimed me as dependant. Im very confued what to do...

We have the same case except I am not a dependant. My mom is my joint sponor she files mfj with stepdad. I've been researching and found out that u have to include your joint sponsor's w2 to show individual income. Make sure u provide pay stubs and letter of employment from your joint sponsor as well.

hi guys just got a chance to follow this thread... i called NVC today and i spoke with michael who is very helpful and nice... he told me that my husband's petition has been input in the system today and for me to call tomorrow or the next day so i can add my email and my husband's email address on the record so we can also get updates on the petition. he also gave me the case # and invoice id #. i have been very very patient and i am so happy and glad that at least the petition has some progress. :)

does anybody know about how to obtain police clearance in singapore since singapore doesn't issue police clearance if you are not a singapore citizen? i am just trying to get ahead because i know for sure my husband needs to obtain this since he lived in singapore for more than a year. can someone help me on this please? i just want to be prepared because for sure that will be a possible checklist that NVC will be needing.

Ok so just for the heck of it I just tried calling the NVC....however I keep getting a busy signal. Does it have to be a land line that I call from or can I call from my cell phone ( I cancelled our landline)??

I call from cell phone all the time. Busy signal is typical, just hang up and dial again, and doing that til you get through. took me 20 times at 1030 last night before I got through

I didn't receive mail or email, I called them a couple weeks after my NOA2 to see if and when they received it.
