When you send in the electronic documents I understand they want all the scanned documents in separate attachments. So how would you put your tax transcripts/tax returns in the email. In the same PDF as the I-864 or in a separate PDF? And how would you label them if in a separate PDF?

I just looked at the screenshots for the DS-260. Holy sheep. I know that it is an older version but maybe for those of you who have filled it out recently can give me insight. Do they still ask for beneficiaries parents names, birth dates/death dates, all addresses lived at since age 16? All previous employers?

That's a ####### load of info that I need to get from my parents if this is the case. I guess I also need to ask them if they have ever been a member of the Taliban, since that question is on there too!

The DS-260 asks information about the beneficiaries parents, similar to the G325 Biographical (Name/Birthdate/Address etc...)

Beneficiary: ALL addresses since age 16 also all previous employment back 10 years

And yes there are questions about associations with different groups as well as if the beneficiary is a child of a person who has been involved in specific crimes - like conspiring against US government, drug trafficking and things like that. Most likely the answer will be no to those questions, or if it is yes then you should probably already know such things about the beneficiary

I created spreadsheets for three items that I knew would be hard-to-get/hard-to-remember info: Places lived since age 16, Education, and trips to the US. Since my spouse is pushing 60, those addresses were really hard!

Luckily, my spouse worked at her last employment for 12 years - they only want the last 10 years - so we only had one line for that!

Take the time to gather the data - it took us a lot of time - that's what we did while waiting on our NOA2!!!!

Folks, when you're quoting someone, put your reply OUTSIDE the quote.

Yes, you bring it to the interview. Depending on things, you'll probably be put into AP for them to process the paperwork. If they accept it, then the visa will be issued. No second interview.

Separate PDFs. Then attach all the separate PDFs into one email. I suggest you read my wiki I wrote (linked in both the first post as well as my signature). Besides reading the entire thing, pay close attention to the 'Scanning' section I put together.

Well, I have sent all my husbands court records which we got the checklist for but we are still waiting for his LONG FORM birth certificate from Thunderbay. I sent a letter to NVC that we have ordered the birth cert. and to please complete our case and that we will bring the birth cert. to our interview. I even sent a letter from Service Ontario that the birth cert had been ordered. Saylin do you think they will move forward or will they require the cert. before they will schedule our interview in Montreal?

It's all up to the officer. There's absolutely no way for me to tell.

The info on the beneficiary's parents were also asked on the DS-230, so that should come as no surprise. From what you wrote, the only difference between the screen shots and the current form, from what I've heard, is they only ask for CURRENT employer.

Will the Ds-260 app be available by Friday?

Also, still waiting for my wife's PCC, should get it sometime next week, should I wait to send the IV packet?

yes they are needing family info / names, birth/death dates, birthplace. they're asking for the past 10 yrs. actually, mine and my minor has slight difference in DS260, maybe its the same case with the seniors.

i tink you should ....coz my 9 yr old daughter was asked the same security questions ...

Collie: from your signature it looks like you mailed your AOS package the same day you paid the AOS bill. I was reading in a post earlier that one should wait for the AOS bill showing PAID on the website before mailing them the actual AOS package.
