Not necessarily. Some petitions don't go out for a week or two. To know when they ship you have to call NVC if you just have to know. My petition went out 10 days after interview scheduled.

You are right dwheels Philippines has lots of petition to process... Coz I was thinking of rescheduling my interview. Guess I'll just wait then.

Yes it should be showing "IN TRANSIT" by now. Mine showed next day when i received my P4.

Hi! I got my IL and my interview wil be on april 29.. i just want to ask how will i pay my interview fee.. do i have to wait for their mail regarding the payment method? thanks!

So i called up the Medical place..they say they will hand deliver the medical results to the Embassy themselves.

Now if that is the case, do i have to ensure that my file has reached the embassy from NVC before going to the doctor? Im worried..what if the medical results are given to the embassy before my casefile reaches them..medical results can get misplaced, no?

What's their timeframe on delivering the results? Maybe you can schedule your medical appointment close to your interview date. It's still no guarantee that they will not lose your results though.

I know you're worried but unfortunately there's not much control you have over this. It's just a risk we all have to take. We all took the risk that NVC won't lose our casefiles while it was them. Ditto for USCIS.

What's was the amount they told you? The only other fee I know of is the "green card" fee that you have to pay to USCIS. But that's after the interview and before POE.

Its the green card processing fee. You can pay after you receive your visa and up to 1 year after. Not a visa fee.

And you pay the $165 on the ELIS website. You will get instructions when you pick up Via and passport
