Oh ok. So it means NVC can give the interview date in 2 days, 1 week or 1 month ?

Look at Egypt on the list they been waiting since September. So yes you wait as long as it take. There are alot of people ahead of you and no one knows how many slots are open.

Why there is no transparency for Spousal Visa unlike K1's who can see the interview schedule id beyond me. Sorry. Wait we must.

The date you get the interview is relative. It could be May 1st. or may 31st. If you are in the queue for May the dates can be whenever.

And no you wouldn't be denied if a CO was really picky they would just give a 221G and make you amen taxes, file taxes (have seen that many times). Its usually those with red flags in the money area.

Oh ok, thanks. Have you seen ppl file single and the CO ask them to go away and file as married then? I've never seen a denial. I think USCIS don't really care which status you file as they know tax preparers can give wrong advice. Unless of course the rest of the case looks dodgy!... We have already filed the amendment and will have a copy with me on the day if the CO wants it, so all is good.

Cheers for the info about the interviews. Do you think it's likely I will be thrown into the pile waiting for May? It would make sense seeing as my case was completed before they started their scheduling. I would hate to be left behind and be thrown into June!

We e-filed our MFJ taxes for 2013 using my husband's ITIN number two weeks ago, but the return still not showing up yet on the "Transcripts" part of the IRS.gov site.

I sent my husband all the original 1099s for 2013 that we filed with the taxes, a printout of the taxes that the accountant prepared and e-filed, the IRS website transcript for moneys on account I've paid quarterly for 2013, and a new signed I-864 AOS form. We're thankfully above the poverty line, by a good margin.

NVC had a copy of my 2012, 2011, 2010 transcripts.

His interview is April 15...do you think all this will be sufficient? Because who knows when this transcript is gonna show up online.... :clock:

That should be fine. Transcripts are not generally required. They are only required if there is something fishy with the rest of the paper work or in MENA countries.

Should i call NVC after 2 weeks from case complete day ?

My case was completed on the 11th and I was calling once a week. The rep I spoke to was very helpful and he told me it is not necessary to call because NVC will send out an email right away once the interview is scheduled.

You really don't have to call them. You get an interview email within minutes or hours of scheduling. In 2 weeks they will be done and you will have to wait for next go round end of April.

So does the updated i-864 Form needed to be sent during the interview?

That should be fine. Transcripts are not generally required. They are only required if there is something fishy with the rest of the paper work or in MENA countries.
