Is there any way to know why NVC is waiting to schedule my interview? I got CC on the 24th of Feb but no interview schedule yet. I called them several times and they keep telling me to just wait.

You haven't been scheduled because its not your turn yet. You are scheduled in order of case complete and your receive date also at USCIS comes into play. I have no idea about your embassy otherwise I could give you better information.Don't know what Visa you are trying to get. We can't help you with no information.

And no the NVC won't tell you why. But its because your turn hasn't come. Or its your embassy.

We also received ours yesterday for the same date!

Cool, are you done with your medical? By the way, my husband is the beneficiary but I'm the one busy posting here in VJ since he's busy with his work most of the time hahaha. Soon as we found out yesterday bout the interview, he started getting all the last minute documents that he'll need to bring to his interview. He went to get his "CEMAR" and passport photos for the medical and interview. He also did the online registration for medical at st. lukes. He will do his medical on Monday.

Planning to do it next week. My husband and I got married in the states and have submitted a report of marriage through the Philippine Embassy. Do I still need to get a CEMAR when we have a marriage cert from the US and proof we submitted a report of marriage to the Philippine Govt?

The Philippines because of all the expedites and wave of petitions has been scheduling non-stop. But they have been overrun with petitions.

For many embassies when they have a stake of Case completes around same time they go by the receive date at USCIS. Which seems fair whoever was in system longest.

Also many have asked for expedites or working with embassy you never know.

Don't get me wrong, I am not asking the NVC to process my case before someone who was there in front of me. I agree it should be a fair system. Like I said I'm more concerned that the NVC screwed up my case and not so much why someone who got their CC 2 weeks after me already got their interview schedules. I didn't think about the expedite as one of the previous posters explicitly said they didn't expedite.

Thanks for the information. I just feel something's amiss about my case. But like you pointed out, there's no way to make them check if there's an issue nor is there a way to prod it along. In short, nothing I can do about it but sulk and wait.

I have to resubmit my I864 form due to error on it. I submitted on March 3rd. All the other document is cleared like civil docs n others. Does anyone know how long does it take to review it and case complete (other than 30 days). If anyone had the same issue then how long it took NVC to review and finish the case.

I got I 864EZ error too. I fedexed them on feb 17th 2014. they recieved it on feb 18th 2014 at 1000AM they put it in system on feb 21st 2014 and on march 10th 2014 i called them and they told nVC just completed your case. and on March 12th i got email confirmation. SO now waiting for IL.

The may scheduling should start up last few days of this month. If your priority date is current and depending where you are in the interview queue you may get a date.
