Count me in. April 4 is my lucky day but my husband need some answer for this please. Thanks in advance!

I am currently going to school full time using my post 9/11 GI Bill and I'm receiving $2300 a month as a housing stipend. I'm currently unemployed and wanted to know if this money would count as income. I have a letter from the VA stating what I'm receiving and when I started school. It's the weekend so the embassy in Manila is closed, where our case is currently at, so I should hear back from them next week.

August 27, 2013 - Case has been accepted & routed to the USCIS NBC

November 25, 2013 - Case transferred to CSC and is being processed

December 05, 2013 - Alien Registration Number changed

December 05, 2013 - APPROVED!!!

December 10, 2013 - NOA2 hard copy touched

I received the case complete email yesterday (March 10), exactly 1 week after my case complete. I also called NVC about the interview but no good news at this time. At least the guy that I spoke too was very nice and said he hope he have better news for me next time and although he can't say exactly when they will have new schedules,he told me I'm next in line to get an interview date.

Hi SuzAug I saw in the list above you have received your IL after just 5days your case complete!!wow you are so lucky!!!

This is one of those situations for embassies that aren't that busy usually and don't usually fill slots up. Some busy embassies have a set time and days and they will shut it down whether they fill dates all or not. Others keep it open to NVC to fill until the next cycle.

This is one of those situations for embassies that aren't that busy usually and don't usually fill slots up. Some busy embassies have a set time and days and they will shut it down whether they fill dates all or not. Others keep it open to NVC to fill until the next cycle.

I understand this now.. Its a little bit frustrating that our embassy(Manila) is one of those busy embassy so I think I'll have to wait longer for an interview letter and even though I had a case complete 1st week of this month,it looks like people that will have their case complete on the 3rd or last week will eventually catch up and we may get our interview letters at the same time. Oh well, there's really nothing We ca do so we'll just have to be patient I guess. :( Edited by enzo0601

I just feel relieved. I thought it would be another couple of months before we got an interview. Truly, I was shocked. Happy, but shocked.

Hi Guys

can u please tell me with your experience when my interview will b scheduled at new delhi India. My case got completed on March 10th 2014 from nvc through phone.f2a category PD june 12th 2013. I have not received email till 2day tuesday but case got compeleted yesterday as i called nvc and they told me u will b receiving an email soon.

So i will really appreciate if you can tell me when i get interview date. Is it true that if my case get shipped 2 New delhi before march 15th then it might b that i can get interview in april or it doesnt work in that way.Thanks in advance god bless u all

May 10 - My most awaited date! My flight to San Diego CA.

 

May 23 - applied for SSN. June 2 - received my SSN Jun 9 - got a job. July 21 - received my green card (wrong expiration date and combined first and middle name, filed for I-90-correction) Aug 08 - applied for a state ID Sep 05 - biometrics appointment  Oct 09 - received my state ID Nov 03 - post decision activity (I-90 application) Nov 07 - card/document production (need to wait for 30 days for my new green card) Nov 10 - received the new green card (2 months & 5 days)
