Visa approved in Montreal this morning! Met up with a fellow VJer which was awesome!

The interview was less daunting then I expected and went probably as good as it could! Thanks to you all for helping out and being supportive, best wishes to you as your journeys progress!

Congratulations. That is awesome when you can meet another VJer. We need T-shirts I swear.

December 21, 2011 - Got Married in the Philippines

December 21, 2012 - Went back in the Philippines for first anniversary.

USCIS

June 11, 2013 - I-130 sent

June 17, 2013 - NOA1

November 21, 2013 - Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center

December 5, 2013 - I-130 approved via email

December 9, 2013 - receive hard copy of NOA2

receive email that case was shipped to NVC

NVC

January 6, 2014 - NVC received the case ( no case number yet )

January 29, 2014 - Receive case number, invoice and beneficiary ID number

February 7, 2014 - DS261 available online and submitted

February 10, 2014 - received an email regarding AOS processing fee bill invoice

February 10, 2014 - was able to pay AOS online

Februay 12, 2014 - AOS showed PAID on line/ AOS package sent ( one day delivery)

February 13, 2014 - NVC received the package

February 18, 2014 - AOS was entered in the system

February 24, 2014 - received an email to pay IV fee, paid IV fee, IV fee in process

February 27, 2014 - DS-260 available online, completed and filed up. IV package sent (one day delivery)

February 28, 2014 - IV package received at the "dock"

March 4, 2014 - IV package was entered to the system

March 7, 2014 - Received a checklist for AOS (GGGGRRRRRR!!!!)

March 10, 2014 - Respond to the checklist ( sent package via UPS)

March 11, 2014 - Package received @ the dock

March 19, 2014 - IV package and DS260 approved (via phone call)

March 27, 2014 - Case Completed ( called NVC 2X just to make sure, now waiting to be forwarded to Manila Embassy Yehey!!!)

Embassy

March 26, 2014 - Early Medical (No problem however hubby needs to go back to St Luke's for the vaccinations once his renewed passport arrived )

MAY 6, 2014 - Interview @ 0615 (APPROVED!!!!)

May 9, 2014 - visa picked up from to go

May 9, 2014 - Booked flight for hubby

May 11, 2014 - Hubby's Flight from Philippines to USA (yahoo!!!! 2 more days!!! I will be with him forever!!!)

I got my interview for MAy 19th CC on March 10th.for New Delhi. Just call NVC dont wait 4 email. Thanks dwheels god bless u for amicable work which u r doing 4 every1

Visa Approved Today!!!

We had interview early morning at Mumbai Consulate and it was really quick and didnot even ask for any documents to show and just asked :

When and where you met your spouse?

What your spouse do for living?

And nothing else.... Really? Yes....

And ask to collect passport after 3 days...

I would like to thank everyone in this VJ for helping and your support! My happy life would start soonnnnnn....

Good Luck to all and my prayers are with you !!! Be patient!!!

1/16/14... Alien Registration Number was changed notification via text/email

1/17/14... Petition approved! Notification received via email/text (Thank God. 17 days only)/Approved petition mailed to Department of State! Notification via text/email

Appppppp-paaa-rooved! In Montreal today.

Working on adding a review in my profile, I was asked some strange questions, lol. The guy said I had the most organized documents he'd even seen and that it seemed too easy, I said "I can try and make it more difficult" lol he said no thats OK. haha. After asking what seemed like quite a few questions, he sat quiet for a minute and then said, so you've never been arrested in Sweden then? Bahaha, I actually laughed and said I've never been to Sweden. So random. Was in and out in 1 hour! Sadly didn't meet any VJ members there, but did meet a man and his family that have been waiting 12 YEARS for a visa, not a spouse visa so they had no priority, put my 11 month wait into perspective.

THANK YOU everyone so much, so so much, and dwheels, your encouragement, support and answers are what got me through this process! Excited to continue to follow others working through this process.

My husband(beneficiary had his interview today (April 3 - Philippine time) this morning and I'm happy to announce that he passed the interview which means visa approved!!Yay!!We're so happy!Thank God we found visajourney forum,it helps a lot with our visa journey. Thank you dwheels76 and Saylin for all your help and to all members of visajourney for sharing their experience to all of us.

By the way, I really suggest everyone going to their interview to have their 2013 tax return w/ w2 or 2013 tax transcript and an updated I-864 with 2013 tax info ready because it was the only thing that the embassy asked from my husband. I'm glad I did because if not, that could have been a problem.
