Requirements for getting Visit Visa to visit mother in USA

45 Years old businessman, currently living in Uganda. Wife and Kids living back in home country.

Want to visit my mother living in USA with my sister. Do i need invitation letter etc to apply for visit visa?

Have already utilized a multiple entry B1/B2 visa previously, which expired in 2011. During the validity visited USA 3 times on brief 3 to 4 weeks visits.

Any help/comments will be appreciated.

You do not need an invitation letter, no. They just need to be convinced that you will leave the US when your trip is over. Your previous visiting pattern should work strongly in your favor. Good luck.

No such thing as an invitation letter. You must apply and be approved on your own merits, showing proof you will indeed go home. The fact that you had a previous visa that you didn't abuse will be helpful. Good luck!
