My understanding is that you bring the copies to the interview, and they will return the originals to you at that time.

Hi,evryone

I just sent my DS 230 to nvc with all documents requered ,certificate of birth , certificate of the police of marriage.........,please will i need to prepare new same documents after ,at the day for my interview? or just bring the copy of the first ones?

Hi,

You should have the ORIGINALS of everything in your ds-230 and your aos. Even though you supplied the nvc with originals of some documents you should have them available at the embassy.

Yes as Jazzy said: He is totally correct.

I was personally concerned on this matter, and spoke with an officer at NVC.

They said it is just as is stated on the Manila Web Page. All Original Documents required at Interview.

He said, he knows he has been asked that a million times, and why he does not know. But All originals are needed at the Interview. So if you have your beloved going to NSO, have her get copies of everything.

Save a trip and money , and time later.

Manila is truly a thorn in peoples sides, but if you play by their rules, it should be an easy ride.

So many have not had that easy ride, hope you are lucky, and some day soon, us as well.
