My fiance had her interview on 03, Feb. 2014, & the embasey requested a new NBI certifacate on 04, Feb. 2014. From the NBI office. NBI says they never recieved a request from the embassy & embassy says they haven't recieved a responce from NBI office. She has contacted both the NBI office & the Manila embassy. Both are saying they are waiting for the other to to contact them. The embassy needs to contact NBI, & NBI says the embassy needs to contact them the NBI office. Mean while we have been waiting in limbo for the past 24 days. While one is waitng for the other to make a move. We have contacted both places with no results. Does any one here have any sugestions as to where we could try to get some results to this situation? Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can provide. WHAT A CROCK!!!!!...

Did your fiance get a 221g stating they need a new NBI?

I am just thinking outside the box here, why not go to NBI and order the new NBI give them your MNL # then tell they to send it directly to USEM.

If they did get a 221(g) then they are eligible to return any documents on USEM's dime (free). Faster quicker and like you said, go to NBI but take the copy with them and send via 221(g) instructions.

Yes she has a new certificate in hand. But both NIB & embassy are saying they are waiting for the other service to contact the other. I will try contacting NIB office & asking if they could send information to the US embassy. It cant hurt.

Embassy does not seem to like the NBI being over 6 months old, and it has to be for travel abroad (green version), NBI sometimes lists US-visa and such and that is fine as long as it's the green NBI.

One more thing, BE SURE to have the NBI completed in all your names that you have ever used that includes married names, birth names, nicknames used. If you have names on your documents and they are not on your NBI you will get a 221(g) which will only slow your process down.
