Hi VJ members,

Just received a call from the US embassy this morning.

They asking me to bring in more evidence of our relationship.

I'm kind of confused right now cuz, I already turned in all that the first time they asked my to come with additional documents/proofs.

after my interview on January 28, 2014, The CO asked me to come back with additional evidences, which i did the next week.

I Have already given them all kinds of evidences they can possibly want; pictures (50pics + 70pic) conversations, money transaction receipts (western Union receipts), ring receipts, wedding dress receipts, phone records, etc etc.

you can read more on my first post of my entire story of my first interview here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/481093-tough-k-1-fiance-visa-interview-with-the-consular-officer-at-the-us-embassy-yaounde-cameroon/

Pls advises from experienced members will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Have the Petitioner draft a latter titled Evolution of Our Relationship. In it refer to your evidence and hopefully it will substantiate the normal progression of a relationship leading to the desire to marry and live in the US together. If your evidence doesn't show this, you may be in trouble.

And, its the content of the evidence that is key....not the quantity.

I agree completely with Baron!

Unfortunately they (CO & the embassy) are not convinced your relationship is genuine. For some reason, they do this a lot with K1 applicants. IMO, your responses during interview and the quality of the evidence presented is the key to getting approval.

pictures (50pics + 70pic) conversations

Secondary evidence at best.

, money transaction receipts

Does not show relationship, just monetary transactions, speaks nothing about the relationship except maybe one person is being scammed?

(western Union receipts)

Dito above

, ring receipts

Somewhat strong but we need the STORY behind that.

, wedding dress receipts

Same as above, need the Story.

, phone records, etc etc.

Need the conversations printed out. What did you talk about?

Baron555 im the petitioner I wrote an timeline of our relationship. We had friends and family write letters as well......we need help on what else would show our bona fide relationship. We're just confused and need some edvice.

What you know:

Someone suspects that your relationship is not bona fide.

What you don't know:

The triggering event that caused reason for this suspicion

Their suspicion may be reasonable or not. From your post it looks like you've provided a lot of photo and other evidence, but something from your post caught my eye:

money transaction receipts (western Union receipts)

What's the purpose of these money transactions? Sending money and buying things is NOT proof of a relationship. In fact, it may even be cause for fraud alert.

In the packet that he received from the embassy it stated under "evidence of ongoing relationship" that showing proof of the support from the petitioner such as gifts receipts and western Union receipt so that's why we provided them with that information it's very clear on the packet. No one put a gun to my head and forced me to send him anything so whatever they suspect its wrong. Whatever I do its from the heart.

I agree with ExExpat.

Sending money needs explanation. The CO is looking out for the American and make sure they are not being scammed. So money receipt without explanation is not good.

I would submit a letter describing how you two met and the development of the relationship to K1.

You're doing a K1 fiance visa, right? I've never heard or seen of a request from a Consulate, Embassy, US State Department, or Visa Officer that requested evidence that you send them money, provide support, buy things, or any other form of financial support. In fact, these are the very things that trigger fraud alert. Now please, I know you're just trying to get this resolved and I am just trying to help you get into their minds about why they lost a warm fuzzy feeling about your relationship. You've already provided so much information that you communicate often and have met face to face. There's nothing more than that required. There's smoke coming from another source, and I suspect it may be the sending of money and gifts before the interview. Now, doing that after your partner arrives in America is acceptable. Usually always it's not acceptable to do it before.

Zebra, you're not the OP of this thread and probably should begin your own lest you derail the actual OP's request for help.

Content content content. Your timeline alone is not enough, it needs to reference to and summarize the content of the evidence that proves to a total stranger that you have a legitimate relationship. Letters' from family are nice but are not the content of your relationship.

You need to show, and reference in your tiimieline your actual conversations between you two. This should show a normal progression of a relationship....where in the beginning you're introducing yourselves, asking about likes and desires, then it should progress on the usual path, eventually you agree to meet in person, then it rachets up, then you agree to marry and begin the K-1 then you begin to talk about life together and then the detailed planning of immigration and assimilation into a married life in the US>

If you have none of this, you may be sunk.

I always always tell folks to purposefully generate all kinds of evidences, using all the modern communication means available.

We need yall support and to know what else we need to prove to them that our love is real.

You will have to provide more details. Post a letter of what you sent of the embassy explaining your timeline.

How do I post a pic of the letter we received from the embassy...

Choose "More Reply Options" and then you find a button below with a paper clib next to saying "Attach Files".

You can also use a third party site like Imgur. See example here http://imgur.com/srhWSt5

...since yall think im lying.

I read the entire post here, and absolutly no one indicated this. All what everyone is trying to do is HELP YOU. You have to put your feelings aside and read the posts correctly. The other members are just trying to give you points why a red flag was triggered.

Why would we send something like this if we knew it would throw up flags

You didn't know it, but it did. And now as explained above you are in this forum to have people help you. Ask the right questions, post more details and you will get really good answers that will help you.

It's amazing how many questions can be resolved with a 2 minute Google search...
