Hi,

I have a question on medical exam form I-693 and I-693A. I read the following from somewhere on the forum and got confused:

"13. I-693, Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status. (If you already have this from your overseas Visa Interview submit a copy that medical check form; No fee is required in this case. If you are a K-1 fiancé(e) or K-2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancé(e) visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement (I-693A), not the entire medical report. You may include the vaccination supplement with your adjustment of status application.)"

My wife has the K3 spouse visa, and I am doing her AOS forms now. My question is does I-693A only apply to K1 & K2 visas. What about K3 visa. My wife had her medical exam done back in China, but the immigration inspector took the sealed medical folder when she enters US. So did the medical go to USCIS or somewhere? and does she need to take a new medical exam and fill out I-693 here or she can do I-693A?

Thanks

I also need info about the I-693/I-693A. The sources all say about K-1/K-2, but do not explicitly mention K-3/K-4. Argh!

What are the real facts?

Do we need the I-693 FULL medical, or is the I-693A supplement enough?

Must we send the I-693A with the I-485, or can we take it later to the interview?

Anyone?
