Whew, just got a pre-interview letter instructing me to take all passports (expired and current) and drivers license or state ID to interview when I am scheduled. At least some action is happening in New York however minute. I guess in another two months, I'll be scheduled :clock::clock::clock::unsure::unsure::unsure:

Good news kcoyclay1, hope you get the interview letter soon.

I read on the USCIS website that the pre-interview letter replaces the RFE and allow the applicant to take the further evidence that's required to the interview in lieu of the case being held until the documents are requested through an RFE. Now based on my filing, there was no indication whatsoever on the document checklist that I needed to submit a copy of my drivers license/ state ID and my passports. In the five years that I've been a PR, I have only traveled out of the USA for 2 weeks. The USCIS website stated in the Document Checklist that those who spend 6 months and over since becoming a PR should send IRS document showing that they filed taxes in the US and rent/mortgage payment stubs.I do not fall into that category. I guess they sent the pre-interview letter because they are aware that there was no indication that what they have requested was noted in their Document Checklist.

So I went the congressman office this morning so they can help me expedite My case I was told to wait couple weeks till the Congress gets an update on my case crossing fingers that my n400 will get approved

Hi everyone I just got a letter from the mail today with my oath taking schedule! Yay!! It's going to be next week on July 22nd. They didn't send me an email notification nor my status changed from the Uscis website. But I'm happy!! ??

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Hello April Filers,

Just got a notice that my oath has been scheduled and notice is in the mail :) 16 days post interview, and 5 days after being cued

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

05/05/2009 - Received NOA2. Welcome letter for Permanent Residency. I-130 and I-485 approved 04/30/2009
05/08/2009 - Touched. I-485 approval letter sent
05/11/2009 - GC received in the mail. Expires 2019
05/11/2009 - Applied to remove restrictions on my SS Card
05/18/2009 - Received unrestricted SS card
10/13/2009 - My darling husband of 2 yrs 5 months 3 weeks 3 days passed away :(
