Thanks Milka. My wife is active duty military, so I was able to file through the Nebraska service center, and I was able to do a walk in biometrics almost a month earlier than my actual schedule date, I think a combination of both those factors helped shaved some time off my actual wait time. Hope you do get scheduled real soon. From what I have gathered, the court in Richmond holds oath ceremonies once per month.

Just checked on the trend in the New York field offices - Long Island and New York City - via the USCIS website (see links below) and there are about 57,500 applications pending for N-400 in comparison to Charlotte Field office which has approximately 2,750. More New Yorkers are apparently applying which means more workers needed or wait time extended.

Are you possibly looking at the National chart for NYC? The second chart is the one specific to the field office and doesn't indicate anything close to 57,500. Or am I missing something?

I tried checking using my phone...unfortunately my phone doesnt support the web software.

Do you guys by any chance know how many san francisco office has. It seems like we're having a major delay starting last week of April applicants to current. THANKS!

Anywhere you look at it NYC is very slow, millions of immigrants here and we are among them and more are coming :) (with some illegal here and there :) )

from AOS and i751experiences I always saw that west coast peeps get their cards faster than the ones in the East. but a surprise @zafroggie already finished with his, weird.

I was put on in-line for interviewing last week, so that's exactly a month after my fingerprinting, my background check lasted a month then, oh well now the real wait begins...

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Anywhere you look at it NYC is very slow, millions of immigrants here and we are among them and more are coming :) (with some illegal here and there :) )

from AOS and i751experiences I always saw that west coast peeps get their cards faster than the ones in the East. but a surprise @zafroggie already finished with his, weird.

I was put on in-line for interviewing last week, so that's exactly a month after my fingerprinting, my background check lasted a month then, oh well now the real wait begins...

No, they won't put you in-line until there is 1 month to your anniversary,
