Hi guys, this is a question for people who are applying based on 3 year residence/,marriage- since the form asks for last 5 years of residence and travel history, did you really submit the addresses and travel dates of even prior to coming to US..(honestly cant remember the dates or exact addresses).. or did you just leave those extra boxes/sections- blank?

Jurisdiction over your application is based on where you actually LIVE, not what you list as a residence or reliable mailing address, also immigration sometimes runs background checks that will reveal other addresses, prompting questions.And yes List all your residencies in chronological order from the most current backwards. All, for the last five years.

you know, its not about the jurisdiction or not wanting to tell all addresses. But many questions mention '5 years'. For example, the address, the travel. It specifically asks the number of days you have been outside the US / travels outside US in the last 5 years. But I came only 3 years ago- am at a loss how to go about answering this. I count 365 x 2.. for 2 years prior to coming to USA?

Addresses the past 5 yeArs, yes. But the traveling part it's since you became a permanent resident so it would be 3 years in your case, don't include when you were living somewhere else because it's not counted as being away from the country since you haven't even entered the country yet

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Hello im new to this forum and i would like to add my process.

filed april 1 uscis recieve my application on april 7 and process on april 9

got my letter "notice of action" on april 11

recieve another letter for fingerprinting on april 16 . i was schedule for my fingerprinting on april 30 2014 finish that it only took 15 mins

uscis case status change to you are in line for an interview on may 15 2014

uscis case status change again on may 27 2014 your n400 application for naturalization was schedule for testing and interview

now im just waiting on my letter so i can get this done and over with .. i hope that my time frame will only be 3 months here in san jose ca

I went to my scheduled biometrics appointment last Fri May 23 and was wondering when i will get my next letter from USCIS letting me know im in line for interview?
