Hello everyone,
I really need your advice and suggestions? I applying for the naturalization very soon and I am little worry about Part 11 Item 23 in N-400:

"Have you ever been cited by any law enforcement officer including immigration officials for any reason"

I remember 3 years ago that I got a citation for carrying undeclared seeds and cigarettes in the airport and charges have been applied at that time.

My question: Do I need to worry about this and do I really need to mention that in my application.

If your fine is under 500$ , You dont need to mention it. Hope this help.

That is incorrect. If you have a citation, you have to disclose it. The $500 refers to the UPPER limit for non DUI/DWI traffic tickets meaning you don't have to include proof of payment if the only punishment is a fine less than $500.

Hello everyone,

I really need your advice and suggestions? I applying for the naturalization very soon and I am little worry about Part 11 Item 23 in N-400:

"Have you ever been cited by any law enforcement officer including immigration officials for any reason"

I remember 3 years ago that I got a citation for carrying undeclared seeds and cigarettes in the airport and charges have been applied at that time.

My question: Do I need to worry about this and do I really need to mention that in my application.

Yes you need to mention it, and just make sure you have documentation to show during your interview.

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Hello everyone after sending my package on April 12, it was delivered on April the 15.

I still haven't receive a NOA, does anybody knows where to check the status of a USPS money order?

3/12/2011 we sent aos package

3/14/2011 package delivered

4/15/11 received noa1 aos,aed & por

4/23/11 received Biometrics appt for 5/11

4/28/11 successful walk in Biometrics

5/13/11 EAD arrive

5/16/11 APPLY FOR SSN

5/18/11 GOT PRINTOUT OF SSN

5/19/11 GOT MY FL DL WIFE IS SUPER HAPPY SHE DOESNT HAVE TO DRIVE ANYMORE.

06/22/2011 INTERVIEW DATE JUNE 22

I had a sudden day off from work today because the school district I work for had a water break, so I did a biometrics walk-in in York, Pa. They were very nice and accommodating. Now I just wait, I suppose a month or so before I get the in-line for interview notice because my anniversary date isn't until 6/17

My Journey:

Don't quote me on this, but I've observed that N-400 petitions filed at the Nebraska Service Centre have slightly different timelines from those filed at the lockboxes.
