Hi all -

Getting married to my K-1 holding British fiance in Las Vegas on 1/13/07. Called USCIS a month ago to get the adjustment package.

They sent:

I-485

I-485A

G-325A

I-864

I-864A

I-693

I-131

I-765

According to the AOS Guide, I have everything I ought to PLUS the I-130, which is not mentioned on the AOS Guide. Do I have to fill out the I-130 as part of the AOS process? If so, do I have to send it to a different location than the I-485 package (which is going to Chicago)? If it's part of the I-485 package and going to the same location, do I have to pay the fee for the I-130 on top of what I'm paying for the I-485? I'm not sure why they sent the I-130....

Also - does anyone know who gets the "biometric fee"? Do I tack that onto the I-485 filing fee?

Thanks very much!

I-130 for the U.S. Citizen to sign and file along with the rest of the AOS package. Send everything together to the same Chicago lockbox location. Yes you have to pay a separate fee for the I-130. Biometric fee can be added to the I-485 filing fee.

K-1's do not need to file the I-130.

You can send a separate check for the Biometrics Fee ($70.00) and attach it to the I-485.
