Wooo Hoooooo! I called the Bogota Embassy today and they said that the notice went out to Vicky on December 28th, and that our appointment is on Jan 30th!!!! We are so freakin' excited, and thanks to all of you who have helped us on the Journey!!!! We'll keep you updated....

That's Great Brad!! Congratulations!

I was hoping you would hear something today. One last hurdle and you guys are done! I assume you are planning on accompanying Vicky during her appointment at the embassy. I am a little curious exactly what she receives in the mail and what she needs to accomplish prior to the interview. I may hit you up in a couple of weeks to find out what is included in the package so that I can give Sofia a heads-up. It must be exciting to book your flights and hotel for a trip this month to Colombia. Good luck with everything.

Mark, yes I will be going there...it will also be a trip for her Birthday so I will go round-trip to Bogota for a week but we will both then travel to Barranquilla for part of that week to spend time with her family. I will also let you know whatever the package contains and all about the interview. We are hoping for the best, and for the eyes of the Interviewer to be opened and see our true marriage and love! God willing we will be together soon!

Congrats RabbitNYC also! You and Brad must be flying high today.

Brad: Sofia and I are going to do the same thing regarding travel during the interview because she didn't want to deal with bringing all of her stuff to Bogota. We will go back to Barranquilla, but maybe just for a day or two because my work is not as flexible as yours. I am sure all will work out during your interview. Thanks in advance for letting us know about the contents of the package she receives. I am really happy to hear that all of the waiting is finally over for you guys.
