Hi both - looking at Igor's list, and the official USCIS processing times, Portland is currently running at around 7 months from AOS application to interview (without RFEs). It seems like they just took a break for 3 months and let the backlog pile up!

We filed for AOS on December 23 2013 and had our interview today (approved! yay!). The guy that interviewed us was really nice and friendly and very efficient. MaleAlpha - good luck at your interview! Xuxu - hang in there - if they don't get the backlog cleared, it's looking like you'll get a letter in August with a September interview date.

I'm very worried right now.

My husband (US citizen) and I applied for a green card in January. USCIS received our application on January 31st. However, I haven't received any notice about a scheduled interview date. My husband has to work abroad for 5 months starting in September. We are really worried that the interview won't be scheduled by September. Is there any way to know when the interview will be scheduled? Can we ask the Portland office to schedule the interview earlier? Should we call USCIS or make an Inforpass with the Portland local office? Some of our friends have already received their green cards. Some of them have applied after we did.

1/25 mailed

1/30 received
2/24 finger print
4/10 received EAD card
