  • 04/03/2015 Welcome letter received by email

PD is Current eventually!!! :dancing:

Adjustment of Status Via USCIS:

  • 10/05/2015 Documents sent (I-485)
  • 24/04/2016 Interview
  • 05/05/2016 Received Green card

Can someone explain plssssssss!!!

Does it mean that they are currently processing May 2012 application?

thats what it seems like. By October the date should start moving and historically it usually moved 3-5weeks every month. Thats will take 16months or more unless you are naturalizing soon like me.

there might be hope. We wont know until october"Retrogression typically occurs toward the end of the fiscal year as visa issuance approaches the annual category, or per-country limitations. Sometimes a priority date that meets the cut-off date one month will not meet the cut-off date the next month. When the new fiscal year begins on October 1, a new supply of visas is made available and usually, but not always, returns the dates to where they were before retrogression."

PD is March 11th.. Called NVC days ago and was given my case number.. Didn't get any email though...

The question is are we to receive an email or letter mail giving us the case number? Who has received such letter mail

you will get an email explaining there are no visas available till further notice. The email will include your case number as well. Cheers
