NVC Question

Mine departed today as to what the person from NVC said, but haven't received an email stating so. When I did check my case on ceac.gov it is in transit to the embassy.

It's certainly starting to look like the "E-mail you the case number" thing is wrong. Or maybe they're just overwhelmed, and don't have TIME to do it. (Assuming it's a manual process).

Checked CEAC website and the status is "READY" meaning at the embassy )..........still no email from NVC

OK guys, UPDATE!

I just got the NVC e-mail this morning. (Telling me that I have a Case number, and what it is). My status on CEAC is still "at NVC", but I'm hoping this means it's moving along, and will be departing soon. (They HAVE to be done with it before the 21st in order for us to make our interview date at the embassy).

Anyone else get one?

Mine is already at the embassy as of March 5. We are waiting on packet 3 for my fiancé to receive and than we will proceed with the interview date which will be sometime in May since I will be traveling to Romania in May and I want to attend the interview.

No email yet from NVC, sent one out last Thursday. But got case number via phone and been checking CEAC website which is in "READY" status at the embassy.

What do you may they HAVE to send it by than? I don't think they are obligated to do anything until they are ready to ship everything out. You might have to reschedule your interview if that's the case, but hopefully it.

What I mean by "have to send it" is that our embassy appointment is March 26th. In order for us to make that, they have to send the file from the NVC to the embassy in MNL by the 21st. I know they're not obligated, but I was trying to convey my hopes. :-)
