And did i forget to mention today is our 2 year wedding anniversary!!! God is so good!!! And our son turns 1 on the 28th. Love is a blessing...

03-09-2013 - RFE email rec'd

06-09-2013 - RFE Hardcopy with reason rec'd

10-09-2013 - Mailed RFE reply

13-09-2013 - Email & text rec'd at USCIS

24-09-2013 - NOA2 (69 days)

31-10-2013 - Sent to NVC from CSC (took 37 days)

14-11-2013 - Sent to US Jamaican Embassy from NVC

18-11-2013 - Received at US Jamaican Embassy

NEVER - Packet 3 received. Fellow VJ'r shared what she received

19-12-2013 - Medical

12-12-2013 - Packet 4 received

10-01-2014- Interview rec'd 221g for missing items

27-02-2014- 2nd Interview - APPROVED!!!

13-03-2014- Visa ISSUED

19-03-2014- Visa in-hand

30-04-2014 - POE Fort Lauderdale, FL

14-6-2014- Wedding (tentatively)

Timeline

Congrats to everyone on their visa issuance! For those who are still waiting I pray you get yours soon. Just a summary of my experience- submitted 129f Jun.7th, 2013, received NOA Jun 12th, Doc accepted, Sept. 17th 129F approved, sent to NVC shortly after, left NVC Oct. 16th, arrived at Jamaica embassy Nov. 14th, shortly after submitted DS 230, & 157k?, received email from embassy of appointment date Jan. 21st, 2014. Medical was scheduled for Jan. 7th.

Jan. 21st interview went well- approved! Was told will get visa in 2weeks but actually took 6 & 1/2 weeks. Was issued on Mon. March 3rd & received by DHL TODAY! 3/7/14!!!. He will pick it up on Monday???. Arrival in the states? In a few days!!!

I how do I check my visa status on the ceas website? can you please provide me with guidelines. Thank you

Go to https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ and select immigrant and enter your case number and embassy.
