blk - Citizens of US and Europe do not require a visa to enter the US. I've seen it called a Tourist visa and a Temporary Business visa. There are many subcategories within the B1.

??? If you enter without a visa, then you are using the VWP (Visa Waiver Program). That is NOT a subcategory of B1 or B2.

If you have a visa, then you are not entering with no visa.

You said you were looking at a visa in your passport, right? What business are you doing?

I entered on a B1 visa.

I meant to say - "US / EU nationals do not need a visa to enter Hong Kong". Sorry for the confusion! I corrected myself so quickly it put it in the same post.

Since the terms of your B1 are vastly different from normal B1s, it is hard to give advice without more information. Like, about what business you are doing, when you got the visa and for what purpose, when you first came to the US, etc.

On a normal B1, you are given 6 months MAX per entry, and if you leave and come back, the times starts over (if you are admitted at all). I am aware that there are some long term B1/B2s for special circumstances, but I don't know all the details of how they work, and I am not sure anyone else here does either, though they might.

The Admit Until date is January 15th 2015

The Expiration date is November 20th 2014

I'm not sure about the the discrepancy between those dates though. Does that mean November is the last time I can leave if I'm planning to return on that visa?

Hi Darnell, there is an "Admit Until Date" on the I-94 it's just below the Admission Record Number on the print out.

When you obtained a visa that allowed you a longer duration of stay than is normally allowed, was this question presented to the CO, since it would have been very unusual for a visitor or Business man to stay put on foreign soil without the need to journey back to their home country or other area to do business. I would think that when this visa was approved for you, there was some discussions on how this visa should be used.

I write this comment from the US government perspective. Therefore, it would be in your best interest to contact the embassy that approved the visa for you and get a clearer understanding of how this visa can be used during the allowed time of duration.

I was given 10 months entry on a B-2 once; this was a number of years ago though.
