It's been a long struggle through the visa process, 2 visits to London, a mountain of paperwork and a lot of money.

It took 4 months, start to finish, but I'm now home, with my beautiful (soon to be) wife.

It has been stressful, for both of us but it's all been worth it.

I had a few concerns about the POE, hearing stories on here of people having to wait 3,4,5 hours to get seen for a 5 minute interview and missing their connecting flights. Which would have brought up a number of obvious problems.

I'm happy to say that my POE process including the waiting time was about 5-10 minutes in total, I flew out Tuesday 25/02/14, it might have something to do with the fact they weren't busy, I've heard that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are quietest so for that, I am grateful.

The next step is getting through the AOS process.

So to round up... Thank you to all the information and help we have got from the people on this site.

Only fours months for a K1 visa. That was fast, lucky you........

Congratulations on getting here.

Next step marriage and AOS. then you can be as miserable as the rest of us.........OK only joking.

Take a little time to enjoy each others company now.

Remember to apply for EAD and AP at the same time as your AOS.

Thank you, goodnight and may your gods go with you",

Once it was six months and longer - you tell these young whippersnappers and they don't believe you crying.gif

Congrats - I'm sitting here doing my AOS stuff now - this time last year I was sitting impatiently wondering when my NOA2 would arrive. Now I'm here and that time went surprisingly quickly (and faster and faster as the time to leave approached)
