For non-Gujarat, non-MH PSKs - what is the protocol for getting a PCC

are there still appointment slots ?

im incredibly confused after reading all these posts

is NOA2 needed ?

NVC checklist ??

No appointment is needed for PCC.You have to fill up the PCC form online a day before,take the receipt with you next day with a copy of your passport and have to pay Rs 500/ at the PSk.You have to submit the passport for one day and get the PCC the very next day.

Which state are you from? I can talk about my wife's experience at the chennai PSK office where she had to schedule an appointment online at the PSK website and then after a week had to take her I.D and copy of it to PSK. Neither the I/L or anything was asked. So each PSK handles it differently.

I did it from UP.I got it issued twice,since I had to reschedule my visa appointment to reissue my passport.In fact the second time they issued PCC the very same day.Best is to walk in the local Psk,and ask them if appointment is required.Most of the PSks don't require a prior appointment for PCC,The service is walk in.
