administrative processing

I did the interview Thursday, February 20, 2014 and the Consular Officer told me that my Application Requires further administrative pocessing. if more information is needed the embassy Will contacting you using the phone numbers and email adress you provided.if You Have not Heard Within 60days from us you can contact us by writing to dakarimmigrantvisa@state.gov.
I'm confused after all I have to wait another year I want to be with my husband this is so painful for moi.I will like to know the administrative treatment can last how long? es it possible that it will rule in 2 months or 1 month because they did not give me a fixed date and what are the steps to do?

AP can last a few weeks or a few years.

There's nothing you or anyone else can do to speed it up.

I was interviewd in dec2013 my interview went very well but at the last CO told me that she cannot issue my visa rite now but after some time it may took 1 to 3 months!!! Now 2 months have passed but no update i m really worried if everything was fine then why did they put my case in AP its really frustrating
