hello every one just to keep inform all of you my case was transfer to Department Of State on June 5, 2015 I'm so much happy for my husband in Bangladesh and now I still waiting for my NOA 2 since May 28 when they approved my case if any of you can give me information about the Department Of State process please .

We just got approved today. I got the email notification and the text saying that case was approved and when I check website was updated too. :dancing:

Thank you. :luv: If I may ask, what was the reason for denying your petition first time you sent it on 2012?

Not really sure why. They sent me a request for more information, I submitted all that was asked and they denied our petition stating it was not a real relationship. I was in Morocco with my husband when I received the notice of denial of petition. We were so hurt by the news! So we waited gathering more proof of our marriage (as suggested by fellow VJ'ers) and here we are trying again :rolleyes: it's been a long hard road. Best wishes to you and your journey! :)

Did you send in the Iv packet too? The NVC will not review The packets until they have both the AOS and IV packets

What packet or you taking about? The online application?

So excited for everyone. Hip, hip hooray, now things will happen at a quicker pace :dancing:

Does anyone know approx. how long the petition is at NVC before sent on Montreal and how long after that that the interview is scheduled for. I think I knew at one time, but I have so many papers now - oy!! Sort of trying to figure out.........when it might possible be wrapped up and I can hand in my retirement notice. I know they say, don't quit your job, etc., etc. but just sort of wanting a rough estimate........

OHMYGOODNESS, I actually got through to NVC last night and very strange how it happened because, I called the number and waited, and, was a bit pre-occupied and then heard it ring and I started to panic. Then, there was silence and I thought I lost the call so, I hung up, and, then!! my phone rang, and, it was NVC - OY!!

Anyways, they gave me both my Case # and IIN # woo hoo.

Someone once had on here what the number meant, does any know or remember?? MTL-2015-XXX-XXX

Also, does anyone know, if everything is accepted at NVC (approximately how long does that take?

and

From the time it is approved at NVC and forwarded to Montreal, approx how long does that take for interview.

I'm trying to make a rough time line here.....

And for those still waiting, take courage, it will happen, we were where you are too and thought the day would never come, but, it is now approaching.
