I'm a Little curious... My husband sent the i-130 on the 23rd of february. On the 27th of february he got an email saying that the application was received on the 25th of february... Is 25th or 27th our PD? This all is so confusing and the wait is already hard on us. But i know we will get stronger after having been through this process to the finish-line.

Your PD is Feb. 25.

I filed my i-130 to bring my husband here in August our priority date is Aug 7, 2014 and we are assigned to Nebraska service center. I submitted an E-Request the 13th of February and was sent an email stating we would get a response by March 7. I received another email feb 20 stating our file is on a processing hold until security checks are finished. Is that email the response to the E-Request or should I expect an actual answer to my petition by March 7?? What security checks could they still be doing this far into it I've never had anything in my history for any kind of red flags that would need extra time to process a back ground check on me. I've called the USCIS and they really are no help and it's obvious they are reading a script. Our daughter is 9 months now and it's fustrating that there's nothing that can be done to speed this up. Has anyone experienced thier case being in a processing hold and how much longer could this possibly take :(

I got the same response to my Service Request...it's really frustrating. Our PD is July 16. I was able to find out from Tier 2 when the background check started on our case. We're still waiting for our approval. Speak to someone in Tier 2 and you might just get more answers if you ask nicely. Good luck

I got the same response to my Service Request...it's really frustrating. Our PD is July 16. I was able to find out from Tier 2 when the background check started on our case. We're still waiting for our approval. Speak to someone in Tier 2 and you might just get more answers if you ask nicely. Good luck

I had a PD date July 15th, NOA2 January 22. Called NVC yesterday and they stated they received our case on February 22 & It will be approximately 28 days after their receive date for us to get a letter with instructions.

My cases was Aproved feb 27 and today i have an e-mail from them saying that My case estatus is moved to nvc but its says that on march 10 se Send your case to the nvc. Guys i think that You better check the estatus of your case and after two weeks we can call nvc. Im so sad, i was thinking that my case was already at nvc but It is not

waiting for NOA2 since December... :clock::cry:

The current wait time on average 5-6 months if not more.

Sit tight .. it will be awhile.
