From my observation, they seem to be both playing catch up on previous months and working on the first ten days of may, with a couple of cases getting approvals from the double digits, but they seem to be flukes.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

Yes, I notice the same thing. Sadly, it seems that some petitions from awhile back have been taking up space on officers' desks and -luckily- they wanted to clear some stuff from their desks before the holiday weekend...To those people who have been waiting for so long, congratulations and I wish you the best!

Mine took 298 days, which is shorter than your time but I completely understand your frustration. Have you gotten any of your congresspeople involved? I heard that was helpful - I did it and got approved days later. Also, according to congress 180 days is the 'reasonable time' to expect the I30 to be processed. As you are nearing on 365 days I would file a complaint with the USCIS ombudsman if you have not done so already.

PS we were also at NSC!

4/30/15 - Sent the same copy of the decree absolute to the NVC from the UK, highlighting the "decree absolute" wording with a letter stating that this is the only document provided by the UK government.

I can confirm definitively that Nebraska is doing SOMETHING. May 12 NOA1 date, got notice today that they had updated my name in their records. Last time someone had an update, they had an approval within hours. I got the notice of an update late enough that I'm guessing if I get lucky I'll have approval next week.

Or it could be wishful thinking.
