01/07/2014 ... I-797C receipt received: Nebraska Service Center, Priority Date: December 23, 2013
06/06/2014 ... "Alien Registration Number Change" email received
07/23/2014 ... e-Request filed. 7 months since NOA1!!!
08/07/2014 ... e-Request response: Security checks still pending
09/15/2014 ... After various requests NSC email received stating that petition is "assigned to an officer" ... Going on 9 months since NOA1
09/24/2014 ... I-130 FINALLY APPROVED!!! ... After 9 months and 1 day
10/15/2014 ... Case shipped to NVC, three weeks after NOA2

I'm concerned for the folks waiting since 2013. Let's all "join hands" and think positive thoughts and build that positive ENERGY and direct it toward approvals for anyone waiting.

On August 21, 2014, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Why is this ????

Nebraska has still to deal with to many I130 so there send them to a other service center. There was a whole bunch of end Feb/beginn March fillers and now also some begin April fillers. I guess you get an approval soon.

That would be great! I just wanted to give you a heads up on these transfers. My case was "transferred" on 6/26 and i am yet to hear anything as i continue to show up as under initial review. My PD is 12/26 which means in about a week, it wiill be 8 months at the NOA1 stage and 2 months since my case was transferred.

AOS Filing:

July 26, 2016 - AOS mailed to Chicago Lock-box.

July 29, 2016 - Packet delivered.

August 1, 2016 - Filling date.

August 31, 2016 - NOA 1.

Sept. 2nd, 2016 - Check cashed.

Sept, 19, 2016 - Biometrics appointment.

June 14, 2017 - AOS interview.

I was transferred yesterday too !! I called uscis and they told me I have to wait for a letter on the mail that would say were and why it was transferred ... Just wait my friend !!

Got approved today 22,August. Dont give up hope you are almost there.

Congratulations!!! You must be so relieved! Our priority date is 2 July, so we still have a loooooong way to go. So happy for you guys! Good luck with the NVC stage :)

2012/04/22: Introduced by a mutual friend in SA
2012/05/10: Officially in love! (L) (L) (L):wub:
2014/03/17: Married (happiest day of our lives)
2014/03/26: He leaves for US; I stay here and begin gathering documents :(
2014/06/30: Finally able to file I-130 (Nebraska)
2015/01/21: NOA2 (6 months and 19 days)
2015/02/24: Pay both AOS and IV fees
2015/05/05: Submit AOS packet
2015/05/05: Submit IV packet
2015/05/08: Scan date :dance:

2015/06/16: Case placed under 'supervisor review' :ranting:

2015/07/01: CASE COMPLETE!! (54 days since scan date) :goofy::dancing: :joy: :rofl:

2015/07/09: Received case complete confirmation email from NVC

2015/07/14: Received interview date via telephone from NVC

2015/07/15: Received P4 email

2015/08/20: INTERVIEW!!!!

2015/08/20: DENIED 😢  - Instructed to file I-601

Thank you yanibabe and mrsbrook. I am so so relieved and just want you guys to know that you are gonna have this wonderful feeling after the long painful and stressful wait. Im ready for the NVC nightmare!
