Amazing! Good to see you finally got it! I'm still stuck, but hopefully will get out soon. I even see march people getting approved, I don't get it, I'm very happy for them, but super frustrated for myself and wife. My record is as clean as a whistle and I have 0 criminal record, never done anything wrong in my life, so it should be a super easy background check. I'm not sure if they skipped February 10th applications cause I haven't seen a single person from that date get approved! I'm DONE going crazy over this nonsense, I'll just let it be.

Thanks.

I also think this process is totally obscure, unfair, and seemingly not following the simple first-in-first-out rule!

But I am sure your turn is close unless further background check needed.

Stay positive with your wife :)

I will try my best, tomorrow is 6 months exact, so we'll see if this coming week it's our turn...

My PD is 11/26 Got notice that application is on hold pending security checks after called in June. Senator contacted and got same response. Logged into my case last night and last updated 12/04. Really! not touched since them? Have another service request in and have heard nothing. Don't know what to do or think at this point

It's usually stuck in background checks cause there's someone with a similar or the same name who has a record...not necessarily cause the person they're doing the background check on did something. I googled my husbands name and there is at least one sex offender with the same name. We've been waiting for our approval since November....

6/5/2013 got married

11/14/2013 mailed I-130

11/19/2013 I-130 NOA1 (NSC)

12/20/2013 mailed I-129f (just in case)

12/27/2013 I-129f NOA1 (NSC)

1/2/2014 ARN changed on both I-130 and I-129f

1/7/2014 I-129f updated/touched?

11/10/2014 NOA2 FINALLY!!! (after 356 days & 4 service requests)

I have a comoon name, and there is someone with a criminal record with my name and same birthdate. I get held up at customs when I travel. I don't understand why customs can clear me in a few minutes usually, been held up for over an hour a few times, but this is takinf months? I have a redress letter from homeland security so not much trouble now. I called USCIS trying to get info, tell them I have a redress number and still nothing.

It looks like you've been stuck in this Nov-Dec 2013 blackhole. Look at the December chart, so many of us are still waiting for NOA2. Most are in the "background check" nonsense.

I am the beneficiary.

I totally understand, but my name (trust me) there isn't a single person with that combination of first and last name in the whole USA. So I'm not sure what it is that it's holding our case at NSC :(

I just put in my first service request with a reply by date of Sept 2. We shall see.

I'm praying that these clouds of uncertainty blow away for all of us so that we can be with the person we love and want to spend the rest of our lives with.

It will happen.

Good luck this week everyone!

Ah cool tool. Well there are 1 (or fewer!) of me or my wife! Security checks should take a nanosecond :protest:
