Wow! Is most or almost all of January done? I barely see anyone posting anything at all, it seems the waiting is now happening here with us all! Let's hope and pray for the best! Mine is coming up to 6th month this Sunday, keeping faith high!!

I m not done. My NOA1 is Jan23

Just got a response of my service request. it says

"
however your case has not cleared all required security checks at this time. We can not provide a specific date on which a final decision will be made on your case.
"

It's a bit different from others. But it's meaningless as usual.

Gods help me. Pray.

BTW which gods should I pray to.

I'm sorry to see that, I'm sure it'll get here, only they know what's going on, but they HAVE to process your application so it'll get here. As far as which God, there's only one God, pray and he'll show you who He is...

My PD 11/12/2013 still waiting!

I got a response from the second service request and from my congressmen at thesame day.

Here is what the response says " We have placed your case on a processing hold because the required security checks remain pending. Until we receive the results of these security checks, we cannot move forward on your case. We require the results of security checks before we make a decision on any pending case.

We cannot predict when we will receive the results of these security checks. Please be assured that we will make every effort to make a decision in your case as soon as the security checks are complete."

I just hope they get the results of the security check soon.

What's going on is that one contractor running said background checks got his systems hacked therefore they're not working until further notice: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/06/homeland-security-breach_n_5656596.html

OK Thanks!

I did try a couple of days ago and got the standard "You are within normal processing times" message. I'm out of town on a business trip but will put it in tonight!

Welcome bud! We gotta look out for each other. Let's hope for a speedy approval too! Question if you know the answer...Does it really speed the process when we do the request and it's approved?
