Hi Demis346

in case you can yourself send a erequest: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do

but this will not be useful as they want us to wait more than 5 monhts (i did it yesterday and once I sent it they said me that our case was still in the normal processing time... but it has been more than 5 months). What I did is I put the state of where I will be going when i will be in the US as I am also leaving abroad with my husband (who is the petitioner / american citizen). But that does not matter to send the erequest.

Good luck

caroline

hi Caroline

thanx for the link .

im suprised that that actually worked for you. putting the state in the request where you intend to live. or rather it doesnt surprise me at all....lol

its so weird that you cant do an e-request online when petitioner lives abroad.

even a change of adress is not working online at the USCIS website and when you call them for an adress change its really difficult for them to do........ basicly they can't !!!!!

what they did with our adress change was , they entered our adress information in the Netherlands in their system , with a zipcode of New York en state also New York.

and we got a letter that they have to send a written note of our new adress with our case to NVC , because it won't let them enter the correct adress abroad into their system.

geezzzzzz....... #######.

Mine was Nov 29 - I think NSC is all over the place. Just be patient. I was too impatient, and ended up with an RFE, for what...I do not know. Especially since I sent them everything possible.

I'm a July filer (I-130 and I-129F). Petitions transferred to Nebraska Bullshi! Center January 2nd.

STILL WAITING.

I got this email this morning:

"Thank you for your recent inquiry about your I-129F petition.

USCIS records show that this case was received by the National Benefits Center (NBC) on July 26, 2013. The case was then transferred to the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) on January 6, 2014.

At this time the case is assigned to an officer. Although assigned, we cannot predict the date the case may actually receive review.

If you have not received a decision or other notice of action on this case within 60 days from the date of this email, please contact us for an update.

The National Customer Service Centers toll free number is 1-800-375-5283 or you may access the CIS web site at www.uscis.gov should you have any further questions or need additional information.

Thank you,

USCIS/Nebraska Service Center

EX0224"

I know it has been "assigned to an officer" at least two weeks now since I already got a similar email two weeks ago.

I can't imagine how frustrating that would be. All I can offer is I hope you get an approval very soon!
