Hello guys,

Yesterday, I completed DS-260 and will soon be mailing required documentation. I was wondering if someone could give me an estimate of time when my husband will get his visa. Thanks.

Hello everyone,

My PD is May 23rd and still waiting for NOA2.

I've been transfered 3 times... :clock:

I have a question: How do you get called back from abroad ?

Even when I call USCIS at 8am and they transfer me to talk to a supervisor, it only gives me the call back option and as we are both outside the US, it won't work with our French numbers.

Is there an other way to do it?

Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it :)

it's written on USCIS website:

"If we transfer your case, we will send you a transfer notice. Your receipt number will not change, and the transfer will not delay the processing of your case"

we will maintain same PD and timeline if our cases were transferred because of workload (my assumption is workload) here is the link you can read:

You should not schedule the medical until you have made it through the NVC process and an interview with the embassy/consulate has been scheduled. Medical exams have a limited period in which they are valid; getting your I-130 approval, plus making it through the NVC process, and getting an interview scheduled will take quite some more time. The medical exam may not be valid by the time you get to the the actual interview.

Even MORE importantly, medical exams have to be done at specific medical centers designated by the embassy/consulate. Most of these centers will not even allow you IN without an interview letter.

According to my Embassy, they have an assign doctor. I would hold off and just wait to hear from NVC. Plus don't assume anything. Some people have been waiting for 9 months.

  • 2 weeks later...

We have an August 2 priority date, so we just hit the 4 month mark today. From what I have seen in the past months, Nebraska Service Center has been consistent with 5 months for processing a petition. Hoping to start the new year with a petition approval. They should be finishing off June and getting ready to start July, but it seems like the forum has been completely devoid of any updates or movements in the past two weeks or so with regard to Nebraska. Any July filers getting approved?

I'm getting so frustrated over this whole process :ranting: . Initially, this forum was predicting early December approval date for the end of July PD I-130 fillers. As of today, the prediction is by the end of January 2017 that's 7 months just to get I 130 approved.

I know some people waited more than 7 months while some people waited not even a month to get it approved.

I really wish we all get our cases approved ASAP as a Christmas gift

I've been regularly checking processing times and I also haven't seen any approvals...GOD BLESS US

Hi Everyone,

Just got NOA1 and was told Nebraska is our center. I'm pretty gutted as I understand Nebraska is a slow center. I really need my wife to have her visa by June/July at the latest so she can start work - she is a doctor and the recruitment system for residencies is once per year, if she misses this year because of no visa, she will have less chance next year. How likely do you think it is? We have 8 year relationship history married in Ireland last year, I've re-established residency in Texas. According to the publicly available info, they are processing i-130s from 7 months ago which would mean that we won't get it in time. Does anybody think we have a shot?
