Wow ! Thats just great . I spoke to Tier 2 supervisor yesterday morning who confirmed Nebraska is processing March 2nd cases and I am within the processing time therefore, he will not open up a service request for me. I just checked no approvals yet .

PD March 29

Calling them right now . Thank you for the update.

Nebraska processing time changed to 2nd of April for I-130, all March cases are approved? Did anybody with March PD receive NOA2 here?

Call them back and try and make a service request. If all else fails, call your senator. NSC seems like they have no clue what's going on. Can't tell you how many times I got the run around and never a clear answer from them. Had to get my senator involved, which has helped me so much. NSC received my RFE response today and as soon as I received the notification of 'delivered and signed' by DHL, the liaison from my senator wrote me only minuets afterwards saying he will follow up on my case.

Hello folks.

I just got this email:

"Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number".

So i have officially joined your lot. It seems this is the least desirable center to be sent to.

Do you have any tips for us?

By the way, my husband is Ugandan.

It seems a lot of us had received that message today... keeping my fingers crossed

attachicon.gif20161017_144734.png

I got my first app message yesterday morning but nothing seemed to change but a few words. Than today at 11 am got another one which seemed to be the same. At 3 pm got a message; " CASE WAS TRANSFERRED AND A NEW OFFICE HAS JURISDICTION". We should receive our notice by November 17th. Received a text message and an email stating the same thing.

Is this good or bad.......?? Didn't say which office.

Welcome to Nebraska! Regarding Tips... Right now it's looking like 6 months (maybe longer) calling really doesn't help anything. Once your case is approved it's about another month for them to send it to NVC.

hang in there, plan some trips to see the hubby. Keep yourself busy. I've been working a ton and just getting the house ready for my wife. Buying her car, doing improvements around the house. Planning trips to see her while we wait. good luck

I called them yesterday and they said they can't open up a service request for me over the phone and I should do it online as I am outside the " normal processing time "

I opened up an online request last night. Has this happened to anyone here before? How long does it take for them to review the case ? The girl on the phone was very rude and said it could take up to 15 days or more . Ughhh.. I am so stressed !! I am trying to be patient but, its so hard :(

See his/her timeline in the signature...a little over 5 months. Hope with some of transfers for the May/June I-130 fliers I've been reading about, this will mean an improvement in the processing time at the Nebraska service center.
