Look at Potomac service centre...approving cases in virtually in 1 or 1 and half months.... is this the balancing the work load between service centres :ranting:

They should send half of the cases from Nebraska to Potomac and then the load will be balanced :idea::devil:<_<-_-:girlwerewolf2xn: Nebraska looks like more of fillipino service centre B-):rolleyes::) Rest of us are invisible :mellow:

Filipino cases are almost always expedited, regardless of service centre.

Recently Nebraska was sending files out to Texas to balance the workload but I haven't seen any reports of that for a few weeks. Hopefully it will pick up again soon.

  • 12/03/21      I drove 3 hours for my interview only to be told my file wasn't there and I'd have to be rescheduled for another interview. they weren't sure if it would be possible before the holiday. He even said he wasn't sure why they didn't do both interviews that very day when i did removal of conditions interview.  
  • 01/07/22.     Interview rescheduled for 02/14/22 @1:30pm Charleston SC.
  • 02/14/22.      Passed my interview. Now await oath ceremony.
  • 11/02/22.      Letter mailed with oath ceremony date and time 
  • 11/08/22.      Received letter oath ceremony scheduled for 11/15/22 @9am Charleston

10/26/2016 : Approved!???

11/08/2016 : Case sent to Department of State

11/15/2016 : NVC Received

11/23/2016 : Case Number & IIN received (confirmed through phone)

11/23/2016 : Submit DS-261

11/25/2016 : Welcome Letter from NVC & AOS fee invoiced

11/26/2016. : Pay AOS Fee

12/01/2016 : IV fee invoiced

12/01/2016 : Pay IV fee

12/05/2016 : Submit DS-260 online

I searched about 500 petitions before me in te uscis apps, almost 100% of the petitions are being transferred including mine. My PD is 23rd May.

My PD is also May 23. It looks like they're playing hopscotch with a lot of the petitions and many are being skipped over some reason. I worry that ours will be skipped over too. We've been dealing with this for far too long and we'd really like to move on with our lives.

So sorry to read all the problems you are having at Nebraska. My case had a PD of April 21 at Nebraska and was transferred to Texas on Aug 2. It was approved a week and a half later. So don't get discouraged if your case gets transferred. You'll probably get a repsonse sooner than expected. Good luck!

My NOA1 was May 17th and I have received no updates since "Case was Received." Should I take any action or just wait it out?

Yes you really should cause on the 17th of this month is will be 7mos.

Yes I really should what? The 17th of this month will be 5 months....

5 months is still within normal processing time, unfortunately. Our case took 5 months 13 days (no RFEs). Once you reach 6 months you can call USCIS and escalate to a tier 2 officer but until then they won't do anything except tell you to wait.
